Chapter Ninety-Six: Going to the Shangguan Family

She opened her sleepy eyes, saw Qin Yang, and her cheeks flushed slightly.

"morning……"

Her voice, with a hint of languor and hoarseness from just waking up, was exceptionally beautiful.

"Good morning, why don't you sleep a little longer?"

Qin Yang asked softly, his tone so gentle it could melt hearts.

Shangguan Wan shook her head.

"No, I need to go back to the old house today."

Her eyes held a complex expression, as if she were lost in thought.

After a night of reflection, her emotions had stabilized considerably, but the experience of last night still left her feeling lingering fear.

Clearly, they already knew what happened last night.

A somber atmosphere permeated the air.

Qin Yang and Shangguan Wan entered the main hall.

"Grandpa, Dad."

Shangguan Wan called softly.

Shangguan Feng slowly opened his eyes, his gaze falling on Shangguan Wan before turning to Qin Yang.

His eyes were deep and sharp, as if they could see through everything.

Qin Yang remained neither humble nor arrogant, and nodded slightly in response to Shangguan Feng's gaze.
