"Xueqing, you mean... Yinghua spent five million to take you to beg her classmate?" Lin Yu frowned.

The two exchanged a few more words and then quickly hung up the phone.
Lin Yu, who was listening from the side, couldn't help but sigh inwardly, thinking how foolish these two women were, being deceived without even realizing it.
However, he didn't say anything outright. Instead, he put his arm around his wife's shoulder and said, "Honey, promise me that no matter what happens in the future, you'll protect yourself first! Don't do anything foolish!"
Lu Xueqing's delicate body trembled slightly, and she nodded: "Husband, I understand!"
However, she soon looked worried again.
"Where am I supposed to get the money I owe Yingxue? The clinic still needs to operate, I need to pay back at least five million first, right?"
This number felt like a mountain pressing down on her head.

Zhang Ailan had already gone back by then, leaving only her sister-in-law sitting anxiously on the sofa.
Upon seeing the two enter, she quickly came to greet them, "Sister, you're back? Lin Yu, are you alright?"
"Your brother-in-law is alright now, Xiaoya. Thank you for the New Year's money!" Lu Xueqing said with a smile.
"Okay, it's alright! Well, I'll head back now! I have school tomorrow! You blind brat, stop causing trouble and don't make my sister worry!" Lu Xiaoya muttered, quickly grabbed her schoolbag, and headed outside.
Lu Xueqing laughed and said, "This girl has a sharp tongue but a soft heart. She even wanted my New Year's money before, asking me to come and save you!"
"Oh!" Lin Yu was slightly surprised to hear his wife say that.
"Alright, go to sleep early!"
Relaxing, Lu Xueqing suddenly felt very tired and couldn't help but yawn. "My assistant called me today and said that the project has made progress. A company we talked to before is willing to give me access to their services. I need to go there tomorrow morning!"
Lin Yu nodded and smiled slightly, "Wife, why don't you go upstairs to sleep first!"
After Lu Xueqing went upstairs, Lin Yu went outside, lit a cigarette, and called Feng Jiu.

Police Station, Chief's Office.
Lin Yu put his legs up on the desk and leisurely smoked a cigarette.
Below, a middle-aged man with a plump build was kneeling on the ground, trembling with fear.
"Young Marshal, I heard from Lady Feng Jiu that you summoned me?"
