Lu Xueqing was so focused on her speech that she didn't notice Zhang Hao staring at her lecherously. After a while, Zhang Hao's large hand inadvertently slid off the table and landed on Lu Xueqing's thigh.
Lu Xueqing was startled and hurriedly stood up, putting distance between herself and him, her face full of anger: "Zhang Hao, what are you doing?"
Zhang Hao sneered, "Lu Xueqing, what are you pretending for? With your Lu family's qualifications, do you think you're qualified to take on Xiongfeng's projects?"
"What do you mean?" Lu Xueqing frowned.
Zhang Hao's lips curled slightly as he pulled a room key from his pocket.
“You know, I’ve liked you since we were in school. Now we both have families, and I don’t have any other requests. Tonight, you’ll stay with me at the Marriott for one night. I can’t guarantee a big project, but I can easily sign any project under 100 million to you!” Zhang Hao said with a smirk.
"You, you're shameless!"
Enraged, Lu Xueqing turned to leave.
Zhang Hao immediately stopped her and sneered, "Lu Xueqing, what are you pretending to be so high and mighty with me for? That's how society is. If you want to get something, you always have to give something in return!"
"Besides, I heard your husband is blind, he probably can't satisfy you, right? How about..."
Bang!
Before he could finish speaking, a tiny, fist the size of a steamed bun landed right on his eye.
Zhang Hao covered his eyes, looking utterly incredulous. "Lu Xueqing, you fucking dare to hit me?"
"Shameless! My husband is blind, but he's still a million times better than you! I feel ashamed to have a classmate like you!"
Lu Xueqing took a big gulp, slammed the door, and ran out.
Zhang Hao clenched his fists tightly, gritting his teeth in anger, "Lu Xueqing, you just wait and see, from now on, if your Lu family can get Xiongfeng's projects, I'll change my surname to yours!"
Just then, Zhang Hao's assistant rushed over, "Director, Vice Chairman Zhang wants you to come over! He says there's a case involving the Lu family that he wants you to take charge of!"
"What? The Lu family? Which Lu family?" Zhang Hao was stunned.
