Chapter 11 Lawyer's Letter

Su Ruowan was just wondering when Xi Yang took out the lawyer's letter he had received the day before from the drawer.

"I received this the night before yesterday. Yesterday, you and your boyfriend who just came back from abroad finally had a date, and I didn't want to disturb you."

Xi Yang is a good boss who cares about his employees, and is especially good to Su Ruowan.

Long-distance relationships are not easy, let alone relationships across different countries.

Besides, Su Ruowan is his savior.

He could never repay her for saving his life, but he could be her good friend for life.

"Ruowan, don't worry, I'm already looking for a lawyer and preparing to defend myself."

Su Ruowan was not so concerned about whether to respond to the lawsuit. She wanted to know more about why Aunt Wu wanted to sue them.

She buried her head in reading, and after seeing the reason, she looked up in surprise, "Aunt Wu is suing us for leaking her privacy?"

Xi Yang shrugged. He didn't understand either. His Sunset Angel Studio had been established for more than a year, and he had thousands, if not tens of thousands, of clients, big and small.

They have signed confidentiality agreements to protect the privacy of their clients. Even though Xi Yang is illiterate, he is not ignorant of the law.

Even without signing an agreement, they will keep the client's information confidential, not to mention that there is an agreement signed?

Su Ruowan returned the lawyer's letter to Xi Yang and stood up to leave. Before leaving, she reminded Xi Yang, "By the way, don't rush to find a lawyer to defend the lawsuit. I'll go to Aunt Wu's house and ask her about it first. If we can resolve it privately, there's no need to file a lawsuit."

"Ruowan, I went there yesterday and was scolded by Aunt Wu. Let me tell you, her scolding was very nasty. It's not easy to serve this person when she comes. If you hadn't told me to pick her up, I would have kicked her out."

Xi Yang is the kind of person who, when faced with a problem, does not avoid or delay, but goes to the customer's door to solve the problem with sincerity and attitude.

"You're running a business, there's no reason to chase customers away. Okay, whatever, give it a try. If it doesn't work, there's still time to sue."

"Here, money for milk and fruit. You can't pay for this."

Seeing that she insisted on going, Xi Yang did not persuade her. He gave her five hundred yuan and asked Su Ruowan to do it.

"Yes, thank you."

"You're welcome, you're also saving our studio time, effort, and money."

"It's my duty. You let me make money, and I help you solve your problems. It's a win-win situation for us all."

Su Ruowan smiled, went back to her office, took her bag, and dialed Aunt Wu's number while going downstairs.

The first time she called, Aunt Wu hung up on her.

Su Ruowan was neither anxious nor impatient. She called again, but was hung up again.

Su Ruowan followed the principle of "three times the limit" and buried her head in typing a text message to Aunt Wu. "Aunt Wu, hello, I'm Xiao Su. This is the first time our studio has been sued for leaking a client's privacy. I think there's a misunderstanding. If you're willing, I'll come to your house right now and we can sit down and talk face to face, okay?"

"Things have to be resolved eventually. Before the lawsuit, the lawyers on both sides called us together to give us a chance to communicate face to face. I thought, if we can communicate well on our own, wouldn't we save on legal fees?"

"What do you think?"

After sending the message, Su Ruowan knew that waiting was not a solution. Fortunately, Aunt Wu lived not too far away. She went to the fruit store first and bought a fruit basket and a box of milk.

As soon as Su Ruowan came out of the fruit shop, she received a call from Aunt Wu.

"Hello, Aunt Wu." Su Ruowan quickly answered the phone.

"Xiao Su, what you said makes some sense. Let's talk. I'll wait for you downstairs in our community."

"Okay, I'll be there in five minutes."

"Well, don't be late."

"Don't worry, Aunt Wu."

Su Ruowan was lucky. There was a shared electric bike in front of her. She scanned it and rode away directly. In three minutes and forty-eight seconds, she arrived downstairs of the community where Aunt Wu lived. She parked the bike and ran over to meet Aunt Wu. The whole process took four minutes and fifty seconds.

Su Ruowan came to Aunt Wu breathlessly, smiling brightly and sincerely, "Aunt Wu, I'm here."

"It's such a hot day, you don't have to work so hard." Aunt Wu, who is nearly seventy years old, couldn't bear to see Su Ruowan running with sweat all over her forehead and red face.

She looked at the photos in the studio at that time. The reason she chose Su Ruowan was that she liked her face that was so comfortable to look at. The bright and cheerful smile on her face made people trust her for no reason.

She has a plain appearance, and it's hard to dislike her face.

Her boss came to her house yesterday to deal with the problem. She let him in, but as soon as the man surnamed Xi entered the room, he was eager to deny their studio's responsibility.

She was so angry that she cursed back at the man.

She gave Su Ruowan this opportunity entirely for her own sake, to give her a chance to explain herself, but she would not withdraw the lawsuit.

If you dare to open a studio like this, you should do your job conscientiously and be an honest person. The confidentiality agreement clearly states that the privacy of customers cannot be disclosed for any reason.

Unless the customer agrees.

She hadn't told anyone, so it must have been leaked by their studio.

"I promised you that I wouldn't be late, so of course I don't dare to be late." Su Ruowan said with a smile.

"Take the milk and fruit away. I only drink imported milk. I don't want domestic ones. And as for fruit, I only eat green ones I grow myself. Those fruit shops use pesticides and preservatives, so I won't eat them."

"Oh well."

Su Ruowan also guessed that a woman like Aunt Wu who still lived such a refined life at her age could not possibly live a life as rough as that of ordinary people like them.
