Ren Xueer was stunned by the man's kiss. She felt her face was covered with his saliva. Because Lu's mother was present, she could only smile bitterly.
"Hubby, calm down. My face is numb."
Hearing this, Lu Tingen still held the woman's face, staring at her red cheeks, "Are they numb? Then can your husband help you rub them?"
Ren Xueer rolled her eyes and said, "No, that will make it even more numb, okay?"
"Then kiss me again, husband?" The man pouted again. Seeing this, Ren Xueer reached out and covered his mouth.
"Stop it, I'm so tired."
The man listened and became obedient for a second, "Okay."
Ren Xueer had just breathed a sigh of relief when she heard a "thump" that startled her.
She lowered her eyes and looked at the man who was caught off guard and knelt on the ground, and was at a loss for a moment.
"You...you...you get up first, kiss, kiss, kiss, isn't it okay for me to let you kiss me?"
The man seemed not to hear her and grabbed her hand, his low voice trembling and affectionate.
"Wife, will you marry me?"
Ren Xueer was completely stunned by the man's actions. Perhaps because she had just given birth, her brain wasn't reacting as quickly. She stared blankly at the man kneeling on the ground, "What?"

Seeing Lu Tingen staring blankly at the woman on the bed, Lu's mother couldn't bear to watch it anymore and stepped forward to kick her son's leg.

"We've already had the baby, why did you suddenly want to propose?"
"Who says you can't propose after you have a baby?" The man looked at her lovingly and his words moved the woman deeply.
"Your husband didn't just have a sudden idea, he's been preparing for it for a long time, okay? Other women have it, but I, Lu Tingen, can only have more women, not less! Does my wife mind a belated proposal?"
Ren Xueer's eyes were filled with tears, and she choked and shook her head, "I don't mind, I like it very much."
She once thought that she and the man in front of her were just acting.
But now, she is no longer just his wife in name, but also the woman in his heart.
It feels really good to be cherished.
Lu Tingen gently kissed away the tears from the corners of her eyes, "Be good, be obedient, and don't cry."

Ren Xueer looked at the man's funny way of holding the baby. She wanted to laugh but her physical condition didn't allow her to, so she had to cover her mouth and laugh.
"Pfft...Hubby, you're so tiptoeing around like that, someone who doesn't know would think you stole the baby!"
Ms. Zhao jokingly agreed, "Xue'er, you've hit the nail on the head. Look at how big he is! His hands are as long as a baby. The size difference between the father and daughter is so huge, it's not surprising to hear that he was stolen."
Ren Xueer: "Hehehe...Come on, husband, you can get here in just two quick steps."
Mother Lu's disdainful look was evident in her eyes. "Look at how cowardly he is. He can take an hour to walk five steps."
"Ms. Zhao, don't go too far." Lu Tingen took a step forward and gently placed the baby next to Ren Xueer. He took a deep breath and looked up at Lu's mother who was watching the fun next to him.
"I was afraid of waking her up. If she cries, my wife will suffer. Don't you understand?"
