Shi Nian was stunned and murmured, "So sudden? Xinyue didn't tell me..."
"My friend just told me last night that the new store has been prepared and can be opened for trial operation. I told her last night, but she may not have had time to mention it to you."

When Shi Nian got home from get off work and stepped into the living room, she saw the coffee table piled high with desserts.

"For you."
Shi Nian couldn't believe it, "So much... all for me?"
Feng Sihan walked over to Shi Nian, took her hand, opened a box of cake and placed it in her palm, "I bought a lot, you don't have to be reluctant to eat it anymore, whenever you want to eat it, I will buy it for you."

Shi Nian burst into laughter and said, "I didn't cry. I was just too moved."
She sighed softly, "When I was little, I always envied other children because their families would buy them whatever they wanted to eat. But I didn't. Even on my birthday, Liu Chunyan wouldn't buy me a cake. When I wanted to eat cake, I could only get it from my classmates and friends."
Feng Sihan felt as if his heart was pricked by a small thorn, causing a sharp pain.
He said seriously, "Nian Nian, you don't have to use other people's things anymore."
Shi Nian smiled broadly, "Yes, thanks to you, I have achieved cake freedom today, and I have made up for all the cakes I have accumulated over the past twenty years at once."
Feng Sihan bought too many cakes. After lunch, Shi Nian kept most of them and gave some to Shi Wei and Chen Chen.
