Zheng Hai came out of the ward and saw Shi Wei sitting in a wheelchair.
Shi Wei felt his gaze and nodded at him with a smile, "Hello, Mr. Zheng, I heard from Nian Nian that you rented the house to us at a low price. Thank you."
"She is also half of my employee. I will need her help more in the future. It is my duty to take care of you."
Feng Sihan frowned and looked at Shi Nian inquiringly.
What employee?
How come she never told him?
Shi Nian read his doubts and came over to explain in a low voice, "Didn't I tell you that Mr. Zheng opened a shelter? I joined them."
"What did he ask you to do for me?"
"To rescue injured animals. I studied veterinary medicine in college, so it's a major that suits my needs."
Shi Nian was filled with joy, his eyes sparkling, but Feng Sihan couldn't smile.
Shi Nian was cautious and did not push her sister out of the hospital lobby directly. She waited for Feng Sihan to drive over.
Feng Sihan and Zheng Hai went to the parking lot together, and their cars were parked very close to each other.
Zheng Hai got into the car and someone suddenly knocked on the window.
He saw Feng Sihan and lowered the car window.
Feng Sihan handed him a document. Zheng Hai glanced at it and found that it was the rental contract he had given to Shi Nian before.
"I've already signed it. Find the payment code and I'll transfer the rent to you."
Zheng Hai flipped to the end of the contract, took a look at it, and without saying anything, clicked on WeChat.
Feng Sihan has excellent eyesight. When the screen of his mobile phone flashed, he saw the familiar avatar in Zheng Hai’s WeChat list at a glance.
They talked privately.
He frowned, feeling somewhat unhappy and disappointed.
Shi Nian had been married to him for such a long time, but it seemed like she had hardly contacted him.
Zheng Hai called up the payment code, "Ms. Shi wants to rent the room short-term, and the rent will be paid monthly. We all know each other, so I don't want a deposit, just give me one thousand."
Feng Sihan transferred five thousand yuan to her and said, "Her sister will rent for two months, and the remaining money will be considered as a thank you fee for protecting my wife."

Feng Sihan drove the car to the hospital entrance, got out of the car and took Chenchen from Shi Nian.
Shi Nian helped her sister get into the car, handed Chenchen to her, and walked around to the front to sit in the passenger seat.
When the car was about to reach the residential area, Shi Nian suddenly remembered the contract.
"I have already signed the contract to Zheng Hai."
Feng Sihan paused, then added, "I paid for two months in advance."
Shi Nian was stunned for a moment, "Why didn't you tell me? When did it happen?"
"Just now, the contract was in my car, and he happened to be here, so I helped you with the renting."

Shi Nian sighed softly, Feng Sihan was too cautious.
But she agreed with what he said, that one should always be on guard against others.
Feng Sihan drove the car into the residential complex, and Zheng Hai was already waiting at the entrance of the building.
Shi Nian opened the car door and carried Chenchen out of the car.
Zheng Hai walked in front, opened the door, and handed the key to Shi Nian, "Miss Shi, I asked someone to come and clean the room yesterday. The bedding and other things are all freshly washed and can be used directly."
Shi Nian clasped his hands together and said, "Mr. Zheng, thank you!"
She took Shi Wei's arm and said, "Sister, come and take a look at your new home. Do you like it?"
Shi Wei's eyes turned red, "I like it."
Shi Nian took her sister for a walk and found that there were many new things in the room, from large household appliances to small items like toilet paper, kitchen paper, and even unopened toiletries.
She was impressed by Zheng Hai's attentiveness. He prepared everything so comprehensively that she didn't even need to do any shopping.
Shi Nian settled Shi Wei down, left the room, and thanked Zheng Hai again.
Feng Sihan was waiting on the side, and he felt that the scene of the two people laughing and talking in front of him was dazzling.
He reminded, "Nian Nian, are you going home?"
"Mr. Zheng, if there is nothing else, shall we leave first?"
"Miss Shi, I really have something to trouble you with."

The three of them walked towards the back building together. Shi Nian was sandwiched between the two of them and suddenly felt that the atmosphere was a little weird.

After going upstairs, Zheng Hai opened the door and the sound of a kitten's cry was heard immediately.
Shi Nian followed him into the house, only to find that the living room was filled with supplies for cats and dogs.

"I use this house for short-term quarantine of stray pets. I don't live here. I live next door."

"Come with me."
Feng Sihan couldn't get a word in and followed the two of them in silence.
