Chapter 12 Encounter
Shi Yan didn't understand at all why she suddenly said this out of nowhere.
Cheng Yue raised his eyebrows meaningfully and turned away.
Shi Yan's eyes darkened and she packed up her things. Ying Han and *** were so sweet, what did it have to do with her?
But a high school reunion? She hadn't heard from him yet.
When Shi Yan returned to the office, she received a message from the squad leader.
"Shiyan, I actually forgot to inform you! You must come to the class reunion this weekend! Everyone misses you so much!"
In order to express his guilt, the squad leader called Shi Yan and said, "Shi Yan, I'm so sorry. You must come that day!"
"I will."
Shi Yan pulled out a chair and sat down, and the squad leader breathed a sigh of relief.
"Great, I knew Shi Yan wouldn't care about these little things!"
After hanging up the phone, the squad leader looked up at Cheng Yue who was sitting in front of him. The two of them looked at each other and couldn't help laughing.
Cheng Yue leaned back and said, "I didn't realize, squad leader, you have a talent for acting!"
The monitor smiled smugly, "To be honest, if you hadn't reminded me, I would have forgotten that there was such a person in our class."
He held the teacup and smiled as he said, "Shi Yan was almost invisible in our class back then."
Cheng Yue admired the nails on her hands, "She is invisible now and will be so in the future."
The monitor leaned forward curiously, raising an eyebrow and gossiping.
"Hey, tell me the truth, how did she offend ***? Why does she keep targeting her like this?"
"*** has read Ying Han's diary. He once had a crush on a girl."
"Is that girl Shi Yan?"
Cheng Yue shook his head, a very disdainful smile appearing on the corner of his mouth.
"It's just someone who wanted to have fun on a whim. Didn't Ying Han marry that bastard?"
"Too."
***If Ying Han marries her, he can save himself decades of hard work.
The weekend came in the blink of an eye.
Shi Yan casually picked up a white dress, paired it with a camel vest, and carried her bag to attend the high school reunion.
Shi Yan took a taxi there and sent a message to Song Yuchen on the way.
"I bought dinner and had it delivered to your house. You can have dinner with grandma after get off work."
Shi Yan told herself to go to the party, and soon Song Yuchen called.
Once the two of them get busy, they go out early and come back late, so they rarely have the chance to meet.
Every time Song Yuchen came back, Shi Yan was asleep.
When Shi Yan woke up in the morning, Song Yuchen was still asleep.
When Shi Yan heard Song Yuchen's voice, she felt a strange feeling in her heart, "Hello?"
"Send me the address and I'll pick you up when you're done."
"No, no, I can just take a taxi back."
"address."
Song Yuchen was determined, so Shi Yan had to send him the address.
"Don't worry about coming over. I'll probably be here for a while."
“OK.”
The taxi arrived at the hotel entrance, Shi Yan paid the fare and got off.
She found the private room the monitor mentioned, and when she opened the door, she realized she was late.
Everyone in the room looked at Shi Yan.
Shi Yan smiled slowly, "Sorry, I'm late."
The squad leader pointed at Shi Yan and said with a smile, "Oh, Shi Yan, it's all my fault! It's all my fault! We changed the time at the last minute, and I forgot to tell you!"
Then, the squad leader instructed the waiter to bring another chair, "Shi Yan, please sit next to me."
Under everyone's gaze, Shi Yan walked over.
When Shi Yan sat down, she felt a strong gaze.
She looked up and saw Ying Han sitting opposite her.
Turning his sight, he saw that the person sitting next to Ying Han was ***.
*** hugged Ying Han's arm, eager to declare his sovereignty.
Shi Yan did not accept her provocative gaze, and kept a faint smile on his lips while drinking the tea beside him.
Everyone talked about the past and the atmosphere was lively.
Ying Han stroked the water cup with his fingertips, his eyes calm and indifferent, but his heart under his noble shirt was stirred by Shi Yan's presence.
His naturally bright peach blossom eyes suddenly dimmed, and he tried hard to suppress his emotions.
Eyes can't lie, Ying Han's gaze always swept over her inadvertently.
Shi Yan lost her baby fat, and her face became soft and lively.
Especially those dark eyes, which were moist and charming, and gave off an otherworldly aura.
In Ying Han's heart, she was like a fairy falling from the sky.
He will always keep the last piece of pure land for Shi Yan in his heart.
She just sat there without moving, but she could easily move Ying Han's heart.
"Hubby, weren't you close to Shi Yan in high school? We should have a drink with her."
*** hugged Ying Han and pressed his whole body against Ying Han.
"Shi Yan, we also want to thank you for your matchmaking."
"Really? Shi Yan, you're actually the matchmaker between them!"
"Oh Shi Yan, you have no idea how sweet these two are. If you hadn't been here just now, we would have been forced to eat a lot of dog food!"
"Yes, Shi Yan, you must accept their thanks!"
*** pulled Ying Han up, pretended to be casual and moved closer to Ying Han and said, "Hubby, pick up the wine glass."
Shi Yan gritted her teeth and stood up. She was holding a glass of juice in her hand, but the squad leader suddenly replaced it with another one and stuffed it into her hand.
"This is the new juice in the store, you should try it."
"Squad leader, I'm allergic to alcohol."
"Don't worry, there's no alcohol."
The squad leader approached Shi Yan in an ambiguous manner, and everyone started to make a fuss.
Ying Han's eyes were gentle, and he held up his wine glass and said gentlemanly, "You don't need to drink."
*** couldn't help but hit Ying Han hard, "Husband, why do you say that?"
