Chapter 288 Sorry, It’s My Mistake
Under the light, every inch of Shiyan's skin seemed to be glowing.
She is calm, composed and graceful.
Zhou Yao stood in the audience and looked at her. The corners of her mouth curled up slightly, and the two of them looked at each other.
Shi Yan is about to start her speech.

"She went to the bathroom for something."

Secretary Chen arrived late and couldn't stop apologizing, "I'm sorry, Mr. Shi, I was in a hurry to go to the bathroom just now. I gave the speech manuscript to Zhou Yao. I hope Zhou Yao didn't delay anything."
Zhou Yao shook her head. "The speech went very well."
A strange look flashed across Secretary Chen's face.
Shi Yan asked the two people to go back to the company.
In the office, Shi Yan put down the white paper.
Secretary Chen was horrified. "Oh my God, Zhou Yao, I gave you a speech manuscript! How come it's blank?"
Zhou Yao frowned and walked over to pick up the white paper to look at it. When Secretary Chen gave her the manuscript, Zhou Yao handed it to Shi Yan intact.
The two looked at each other, then turned to look at Shi Yan in unexpected tacit understanding.

"Secretary Chen, you said I changed the speech. Do you have any evidence?"
Secretary Chen covered his face and said nothing.
Facing Zhou Yao's questioning, she whispered, "Everyone knows that you and Sister Ying are against each other, everyone knows that you..."

Shi Yan spoke at the critical moment, "You go out first."

Zhou Yao said nothing.
Shi Yan waved her hand and asked her to go out first.

Secretary Chen looked up and saw Yun Ying, "Sister Ying."
Yun Ying walked over with her arms folded. "What's going on?"

In the room, Shi Yan handed Zhou Yao a tissue.
Zhou Yao wiped away her tears silently, "She gave me a blank sheet of paper."
"I don't have to lie."
"I'm not stupid enough to send you a blank draft document, haha."
Shi Yan poured a glass of water and handed it over.
Her action surprised Zhou Yao. Was Shi Yan silently expressing her belief in herself?
Zhou Yao paused for a few seconds.
She slowly reached out and took the water.
When Zhou Yao was going out, she passed Yun Ying. Yun Ying smiled meaningfully and pushed the door open.
"Xiao Chen is crying."
"Sister Ying, what do you think?"
Yun Ying sat in a swivel chair, her arms casually draped over the table. "What do you think? There's no surveillance footage, and no evidence. Everyone has their own story, so who should I believe?"
Shi Yan thought Yun Ying was more clear-headed.
"What are you going to do now?"
