Chapter 400: Wen's Mother Assists
Song Yuchen parked the car and said, "Don't bother me. I haven't eaten either."
Shi Yan was busy all afternoon, and Song Yuchen almost didn't eat the whole day.
There weren't many people in the store and it was fairly clean.
Song Yuchen lifted the curtain and let Shi Yan go in first.
The two of them chose a seat by the window and sat down. Shi Yan ordered a signature noodle dish. Song Yuchen took off his coat and said, "Same as her."
The waiter called out and went to serve other guests.
The room was quiet, with only the occasional voice of the waiter.
The two of them sat in silence. Shi Yan couldn't think of any topic to talk about. She looked at Song Yuchen without saying anything.
"Jiang Xu went back and started investigating Boss Wang, and the results were quite good."
“The project here will probably be finished.”
"Your construction site will have a new boss coming in."
Shi Yan was stunned. "What about the workers at the existing construction site?"
A high-and-mighty person like Song Yuchen would definitely not consider the fate of people like them.
Aren’t those people on the construction site all like Old Li?
"I'll have someone arrange it."

Shi Yan pulled her to sit down, "Mom, give him some time to rest."
Wen Fang listened to Shi Yan and slapped her thigh. "Man is like iron and food is like steel. How can we live without food? You, as his wife, are irresponsible. What if his health gets damaged?"
"How about this, I'll cook for him and send it to him every day."
Shi Yan was surprised.
"What are you looking at? I'm your mother and Yuchen's mother. I can probably stay here for another week. I'll bring him food first."
"After I leave, you will be responsible for Yuchen's meals."
Wen Fang frowned and sat down. She could see that Song Yuchen was good to Shi Yan. As long as he was good to Shi Yan, Wen Fang would naturally treat him sincerely.
Song Yuchen is her biological son.
Shi Yan couldn't refuse, nor did she want to refuse.
Song Yuchen's habit of not liking to eat only developed after their divorce. When they were married, they at least ate together every day.
Shi Yan felt guilty and nodded to everything Wen Fang said.
Wen Fang went outside to buy some nourishing soup. When she came back, Song Yuchen had already woken up.
