Jiang Yue nodded and politely asked Li Xiangyun to sit down.
She ignored Shi Yan.
The smile on Shi Yan's lips froze, and she didn't react yet.
Li Xiangyun took her hand and asked her to sit down. "What are you standing there for? Hurry up and sit down."
Shi Yan nodded and looked at Jiang Yue.
Jiang Yue placed her hands lightly on her chin and nodded occasionally.
She didn't even look at Shi Yan.
Throughout the dinner, Jiang Yue treated Shi Yan as if she were air. Li Xiangyun, who was always slow to react, sensed something and kept letting Shi Yan speak.
Shi Yan smiled and stayed aside, acting as a silent tool.
Li Xiangyun sensed Jiang Yue's hostility towards Shi Yan, and his expression gradually darkened.
The reason Jiang Yue asked them to come over was actually because the Jiang family was going to build a hotel here. Jiang Yue planned to do a joint venture and wanted Li Xiangyun to help with the design.
Li Xiangyun originally wanted to recommend Shi Yan, but when he found out that Jiang Yue was very hostile to Shi Yan, he planned to politely refuse.
"Teacher Li, please think about this carefully."
Jiang Yue got up and went to the bathroom.
Only Li Xiangyun and Shi Yan were left in the room. Li Xiangyun poured Shi Yan a glass of water and said, "I don't know what happened to her suddenly. Don't take it to heart."
"Teacher, how could that be?"
Shi Yan held the water cup, feeling like a thorn was stuck in her heart.
She also didn't understand why Jiang Yue suddenly treated her like this. Was it because of Song Yuchen?
Does she know that she is Song Yuchen’s ex-wife?
Shi Yan frowned. She felt that she and Song Yuchen were each pursuing their own happiness and they should make it clear.
She hopes Song Yuchen is happy.
