Shi Yan was at a loss for words and couldn't say anything for a moment.
Song Yuchen didn't come back, and Shi Yan was the only one in the office.
She stood up and gradually looked around Song Yuchen's office boldly.
Until she reached out to touch the jade object on the table, she suddenly heard Song Yuchen's voice at the door.
"Don't move."
Shi Yan pulled her hand back quickly, as if she had been burned by something.
Her eyes were evasive and flustered. "I, I didn't mean to touch you."
"Um."
The man responded coldly. Song Yuchen pulled out a chair and sat down, lowering his head to deal with official business. "What's the matter?"
He didn't even raise his head and didn't take Shi Yan seriously at all.
Shi Yan stood there, her face burning with pain as if she had been slapped hard.
"There's a document I need you to sign. Miss Jiang asked me to come here."
"Bring it here."
He reached out to take the contract, still not looking up at her.
Shi Yan felt very uncomfortable and slowed down in taking out the documents.
The next second, Song Yuchen said impatiently, "So slow?"
The contract fell on his desk, and Shi Yan pursed her lips and said nothing.
The two men's eyes met briefly, one with resentment and dissatisfaction, the other calm and composed.
Song Yuchen's businesslike attitude silently hurt Shi Yan.
Song Yuchen signed twice and handed it to Shi Yan.
Shi Yan snatched it away, and her movements were so fast that Song Yuchen couldn't help but look up at her.
Shi Yan packed the documents and turned to leave.
Song Yuchen's chilling voice came from behind, "Miss Shi is really a person of character."
