Li Yan's chest was pounding. He hadn't felt this nervous in a long time.
"Li Yan."
Li Yan shaved his beard on purpose for fear that Lin Xin would not recognize him. When he left that year, he still looked young.
This strange yet familiar name made Lin Xin relax for a while. She opened the door and her eyes widened when she saw Li Yan.
"You, you're still alive!"
Lin Xin took a few steps forward and hugged Li Yan, "Where have you been all these years? Uncle Li, I miss you so much!"
After hearing Lin Xin's words, Li Yan's heart softened instantly.
His eyes were moist and red, and he took Lin Xin's hand again, "Come in and talk."
When Lin Xin was a child, Li Yan was the uncle who loved her the most. He always had a smile on his face and gave her snacks and drinks.
