He quickly stepped forward, stood between the two of them, and tried to persuade them.
Chu Hong turned a deaf ear to him, the dagger still against Xie Yunqi's neck, his tone so cold that it could freeze ice chips.
"Xie Yunqi! Do you really think that I dare not kill you?"
Xie Yunqi, however, was not at all flustered, with a mocking look in his eyes: "Your Highness, are you angry out of shame?"
"Or are you sure you want to break up with me in this princess's mansion?"
Chu Hong's eyes were red, and the hand holding the dagger was shaking: "You are not worthy of being close to the emperor sister!"
As he said this, he exerted force with his hand and stabbed towards Xie Yunqi.
Xie Yunqi leaned sideways to block the attack, and the two men started fighting back and forth in the corridor.
The guards and maids in the distance stamped their feet anxiously, but did not dare to step forward.
At the critical moment, Zhixia arrived.
She dodged and blocked Chu Hong's attack, then stood between the two of them and warned, "Your Majesty, Prime Minister Xie, what are you doing?"
