At dawn, the group got ready to return to the palace.
As Qin Su gazed at the serene Xishan Temple, a slight sense of reluctance arose in her heart. However, this reluctance vanished instantly upon seeing Xue Huai'an being helped out.
The Empress Dowager waited in the carriage for a long time, but the procession didn't move. She asked Granny Qin to call Qin Su over and asked her, "What's going on? Why haven't we set off yet?"
Qin Su lowered her head and said, "His Majesty has not yet arrived."

Qin Su responded, then, remembering the child beside her, asked, "Have you made arrangements for your nephew?"
Tao Rong nodded, "His parents picked him up."
Now that she has no worries, she can focus on getting things done.
Qin Su didn't say anything more. She lay down and closed her eyes to rest.
Tao Rong glanced at her, pondering her future path.
After Qin Su woke up, she handed her a glass of water and said, "Do you need me to deal with the Empress?"
Qin Su didn't expect her to ask this, but upon closer reflection, it didn't seem like anything surprising.
The empress is, after all, the mother of the nation. If Tao Rong were to assume this position, there would be so many things she could do.
