"Don't joke with me, sir. It's of course the money for wine and meat!" said the innkeeper with a smile.
"Hahaha! Come on, open your dog eyes and take a look, what is this?" A bandit took out a token and slapped it into the guy's hand.
The innkeeper almost didn't catch it.
"Feng Xingjun?" The guy saw the words on the token.
The Fengxing Army was directly under Prince Qi's command, and this inn was his property, but that wasn't a reason for them to not pay for their meals. They had to submit detailed financial accounts to Prince Qi's mansion at the end of the year, and if they ate for free, they would have to pay for it themselves. If the accounts weren't right, they might even be punished and imprisoned.
"Comrades, do you have any military notes?" asked the clerk.
Military bills are vouchers for reimbursement, and with them you can also reconcile accounts.
"Okay, stop teasing the guy and give him the military notes," the elder man ordered.
A bandit laughed and took out some stamped military bills and slapped them into the servant's hands: "Boy, count them carefully. This is King Qi's property. We will not default on our debt."
The clerk breathed a sigh of relief when he received the military ticket. He could finally get his job done. He immediately put on a smile and said, "That's right, that's right. The soldiers are not that kind of people. It's just that this joke scared me. I'm a coward, not like you soldiers. You soldiers are so powerful and majestic, and each one of them is a top-notch person."
The innkeeper flattered them and these people walked out of the inn laughing.
Han Shan then followed him out of the inn.
As soon as these people walked out of the inn, they mounted their horses and left. Han Shan walked slowly at first, but after leaving the inn, he suddenly exerted force on his feet and quickly chased after those people.
Lin Feng followed after settling his family, but he didn't catch up. Looking at Han Shan leaving at a high speed, he sighed, "My skills are not as good as others!"
"Xiao Hei! It's your turn to show your abilities." Lin Feng pulled Xiao Hei out, sat on its back and said.
"Moo!" Xiao Hei turned around and yelled at Lin Fengniu, meaning, what speed do you want?
Lin Feng patted its head and said, "As fast as possible!"
"Moo!" After receiving the order, Xiao Hei dug the ground with his hooves, lowered his head, and suddenly jumped up like an arrow, flying away and almost throwing Lin Feng off.
Lin Feng managed to hold on to the reins with great difficulty. He could only hear the sound of the wind in his ears and the trees on both sides moving backwards.
It was too fast. It was the first time that Lin Feng experienced what it felt like to be traveling at lightning speed. It was so fast that it made him feel nervous.
"Uncle Han!" Lin Feng called out to Han Shan who was running in front. Han Shan subconsciously turned his head and saw a cow flying towards him.
Yes, from Han Shan’s perspective, the cow was flying close to the ground, because its four hooves could not be seen clearly.
"Damn!" As Han Shan was exclaiming in surprise, Xiao Hei had already surpassed him, leaving him with a mouthful of dust.
"Hey! Xiao Hei, pull Uncle Han up, why did you run over?" Lin Feng immediately called it. The cow ran happily and surpassed Han Shan in a moment.
Xiao Hei had no choice but to turn around and pick up Han Shan.
"Damn, why are you back again?" Han Shan, who was running wildly, saw Lin Feng coming back riding a cow again, so he asked curiously.
Lin Feng chuckled and said, "Uncle, get on the ox's back. Running is so tiring!"
Han Shan smiled and nodded, then he jumped and landed safely on the cow's back.
"Xiao Hei, chase him!" Lin Feng ordered.
"Moo!" Xiao Hei lowered his head and mooed like a cow, meaning that they should sit tight because it was about to take off.
With a "whoosh", Xiao Hei rushed out. Han Shan and Lin Feng were in the same situation at the beginning and almost fell down.
"Little brother, your cow is amazing," Han Shan exclaimed in admiration. He had been traveling the world for many years and had seen all kinds of fine animals. But this was the first time he had seen a cow running so fast. In his perception, cows should run slowly and leisurely, but this cow was completely out of his common sense.
"Huh? Was it a cow that just pulled two people past?" A bandit was riding his horse at full speed when he felt something flash past in front of his eyes.
"It seems so!" Another bandit also looked confused.
Xiao Hei, who was still racing, was stopped by Lin Feng because they had already surpassed the bandits.
"Moo!" Xiao Hei was a little dissatisfied with Lin Feng's behavior of stopping him. He had just started and had not run enough!
"Uncle Han, let's wait for them in this woods!" Lin Feng suggested.
Han Shan nodded helplessly. The cow ran too fast and it had surpassed them in the blink of an eye. However, it would be the same if they just waited here.
"So what are our plans?" Lin Feng asked.
Han Shan smiled and shook his head: "Little brother, remember one thing, in the face of absolute strength, plans are useless."
"Da da da!" After a while, the bandits rode their horses to the woods.
Han Shan picked up a dozen stones from the ground and threw them at their horses.
Each stone hit the horse's nose accurately. The horse raised its head suddenly in pain, neighed and stood up. The bandits did not react in time and did not hold the reins tightly, so they were thrown off.
"Awesome!" Lin Feng was extremely shocked as he watched Han Shan's attacks. His technique was so skillful. He suddenly remembered his unreliable master who had never taught him the techniques of throwing hidden weapons.
“Ouch!”
"My legs!"
"What's wrong with the horse?"
The bandits wailed and rolled on the ground. They were all injured to varying degrees, some seriously, with broken arms and legs.
