Get ill
Shen Yanshu dreamed all night, and before she knew it, it was daybreak. Outside, birds were perched on a tree in an unknown location and singing. The wind blew gently through the gauze window, and the swaying light and shadow were reflected on her face.

Shen Yanshu now felt pain all over his body, his eye sockets were painful and hot, and his cheeks were also hot.

Su Bai put his hands on one side of her face, holding her hot cheek.

"No."

The car arrived downstairs of Shen Yanshu's house, and Su Bai called her softly: "Xiaoshu, we're home."
Shen Yanshu opened his sleepy eyes and said, "Okay."
"I'll take you upstairs. I've already bought the medicine. Can you get out of the car by yourself?"
Shen Yanshu didn't want to get off the car by herself despite having such a good opportunity. Besides, she was a patient now, so how could she walk by herself?
"I can't get off."
"Then I'll hold you?"
Shen Yanshu opened his arms: "Okay."
It was already past nine o'clock, and even if she wasn't a patient, she would be sleepy. She buried her head in Su Bai's neck, put her arms around his neck, and was carried upstairs by him.

"My birthday."

Shen Yanshu's bedroom is very girly, with light pink bedding, a teddy bear on the bed, her artistic photos hanging on the wall, a lily of the valley night light on the bedside, her charger and family photos.
Su Bai put her on the bed, covered her with a quilt, and said, "Don't fall asleep yet. I'll go get you some water. Drink the medicine first, okay?"
Shen Yanshu nodded. She didn't want to talk now because her throat was too sore.
Su Bai felt somewhat awkward being in a girl's home. He found some water and a cup on the table, brought them to the bedroom, and coaxed Shen Yanshu to drink the medicine.
"You can't lie down flat after taking the medicine. Can you lean like this for a while?"
"Okay." Shen Yanshu opened his eyes and looked at Su Bai, "Do you want to leave now?"
