She turned to look at him, but in the darkness she couldn't see his face, let alone his expression.
"Honey, I want one too!"
Shangguan Wu grinned mischievously and moved closer to him, reaching out to touch his abs beneath his pajamas.
Gu Yunzhen narrowed his deep eyes and suddenly grabbed her wrist.
Shangguan Wu felt the heat on her wrist and immediately dared not act rashly. She whispered in his ear, "I'm afraid I can't help you. My period started while I was taking a shower."

So her earlier "I really want it" was a deliberate attempt to seduce him?
Gu Yunzhen suppressed her desire with great self-control, her voice low and hoarse: "Sleep, you can have anything in your dreams."
Shangguan Wu blinked. Did he mean he wanted to have sex with her in his dream?
This time, she was really so upset by him that she couldn't sleep.

The next morning.
Shangguan Wu was woken up by a phone call from Shangguan Xue.
"Big sister, are you at the airport now? Aren't you coming with us?"
"I'll go to the capital first. Mom doesn't know about my divorce yet, so I need to explain to her why I'm going alone today."
"Oh, then be careful."
Shangguan Wu instantly snapped out of her daze. After hanging up the phone, she rolled around on the bed a couple of times, reluctant to leave, before getting up.
She didn't know when Gu Yunzhen got up; the temperature beside her was slightly cool.
Before going downstairs, she first went to the study to take a look.
Gu Yunzhen was indeed working inside.
As expected, yet slightly unexpected, she said, "Honey, when did you get up? I think I was sleeping too soundly; I didn't hear a thing."
Gu Yunzhen looked up at her and said, "Remove 'seems'."
Shangguan Wu's lips twitched slightly.
"Did you have breakfast?"
"No."
"Let's go downstairs together then."
Shangguan Wu stood with her arms crossed, a smile on her face, waiting for him by the door.
Today, she is no longer bare-faced; she has put on exquisite makeup, and her long, flowing, milk tea-colored curly hair falls naturally down her back. She is wearing a sleeveless floral dress from the biubiu brand, paired with a solid-colored blazer, making her look both energetic and stylish.
It's all Gu Yunzhen's fault. She said something that made her unable to sleep well, and she doesn't even know when she fell asleep.
Look in the mirror while washing up.
Oh wow!
A pair of panda eyes suddenly appeared.
Shangguan Wu looked at the man who was shutting down the computer with a accusing gaze.
Gu Yunzhen shut down the computer, then suddenly seemed to sense something, looked up at the woman at the door, and wheeled herself closer: "Hungry?"
"Aren't you hungry?" Shangguan Wu asked in return.
Gu Yunzhen looked up at her again, his deep gaze darkening.
"I am a little hungry."
He withdrew his gaze and maneuvered his wheelchair out of the study.
Shangguan Wu licked her lower lip, feeling that the hunger he spoke of and the hunger she spoke of were not the same thing.
Gu Yunzhen didn't hear her footsteps, stopped his wheelchair, and said in a deep voice with a hint of mockery, "What, you want to be late?"
Shangguan Wu: "..."
She was right after all!
That's exactly what he meant!
Shangguan Wu followed him into the elevator, gazing down at his handsome profile: "Husband, I've realized I can't trust you too much anymore."
Gu Yunzhen raised an eyebrow: "What do you mean?"
Shangguan Wu leaned against the elevator wall, staring at him intently: "Even when you say something so ordinary, I have to guess the deeper meaning behind it. If I believe you right away, I feel like I'll be sold out by you and then still count the money for you!"
A hint of a smile flickered in Gu Yunzhen's deep eyes.
Suddenly, there was a ding.
The elevator doors opened.
He maneuvered his wheelchair out of the elevator and headed to the dining room.
As Shangguan Wu walked, she said, "Honey, we'll go to the airport after we finish eating. My older sister has already flown away."
"It's your decision." Gu Yunzhen had no objections.
Shangguan Wu curled her lips, and for some reason, she felt like she was in charge.
"Okay."
A bright smile appeared on her lips.
While eating breakfast, she looked at Uncle Zhang and said, "Uncle Zhang, if Mo Mudan arrives home before I return, could you please have someone send a potted plant to [Jieyuhua] shop for a girl named Rongrong?"
Uncle Zhang said, "Don't worry, Fourth Young Madam, I'll send someone to deliver the black peony as soon as it arrives."
Gu Yunzhen paused slightly, then looked up at her vaguely.
Is she going to give flowers to someone else?
Or should I take his flowers?
Gu Yunzhen frowned slightly and ate his breakfast expressionlessly. He finished quickly.

After breakfast, the two went out together to the airport.

However, the man beside her had already opened his eyes and looked at her.
"What happened?" Gu Yunzhen asked.
"No, it's nothing. Did I wake you up?" Shangguan Wu said, looking annoyed.
