The next morning, when Gu Yunzhen woke up, Shangguan Wu was still asleep.
He glanced at her sleeping face, and after a long while, he quietly got out of bed, sat in his wheelchair, and left the bedroom.
After washing up, Gu Yunzhen went to the study.
He contacted Gu Shisan.
Once the call connected, Gu Yunzhen instructed in a low voice, "Go and investigate the Shangguan Group and Shangguan Xiong."
Gu Shisan on the other end of the phone had a feeling of 'finally it'!
"I'm sorry, Fourth Young Master, I did investigate the Shangguan Group before."
"Send me the information."
Gu Yunzhen turned on the computer with a cool, clear voice.
Soon, I received an email from Gu Shisan.
As he checked his emails, he asked, "What did you find?"
Gu Shisan replied, "Shangguan Group has five projects that are only half-developed. Due to insufficient funds, they are robbing Peter to pay Paul. Some shareholders have opposed this suicidal self-rescue method, but Shangguan Xiong and other shareholders have suppressed it."
Gu Yunzhen casually asked him, "How long has this been going on?"
Gu Shisan replied on the phone: "The first project was three years ago, two more projects were developed last year, and there is only one project this year."
A group's project has been delayed for three years?
Either the decision-makers are incompetent, or there's a conspiracy!

"You're awake? Get up and wash up. I've asked Uncle Zhang to bring lunch upstairs."
"I'm not hungry!"

She didn't want to spend the whole day in bed!
Upon hearing the words "room allocation," a sharp glint flashed in Gu Yunzhen's eyes.
"Get up."
He maneuvered his wheelchair out of the bedroom.
When Shangguan Wu heard the door close, she exclaimed "Eh!" and turned to look.
Is he angry?
She was speechless for a moment, her delicate eyebrows furrowing. Shouldn't she be the one who was angry?
He clearly did it on purpose last night!
He dug a pit for her, and she foolishly jumped in because she trusted him. The fact that she's still sore all over is proof of that!
Shangguan Wu got out of bed, held her breath, and took a relaxing bath to relieve the soreness.
As she went out, an enticing aroma wafted through the air, and her stomach immediately started growling again. She followed the scent to the living room.
There was a small dining table in the living room with ten dishes on it, all of which looked and smelled delicious. The broth, in particular, was so fragrant that it made your mouth water just by smelling it.
Hearing footsteps, Gu Yunzhen looked up and saw the dress she was wearing, her beautiful neck and collarbone exposed to the air. He narrowed his eyes slightly.
Considering she was still angry, he didn't say anything, only saying, "Are you planning to stand there drooling forever?"
Well!
Shangguan Wu snapped out of her daze and hurriedly raised her hand to wipe the corner of her mouth, only to find that there was no saliva.
She glared at him: "You lied to me!"
Gu Yunzhen said casually, "Your eyes tell me you're about to drool."
"Nonsense!"
Shangguan Wu walked over and sat down opposite him, picked up his chopsticks and began to eat.
Don't want to talk to him?
Gu Yunzhen raised an eyebrow.
Considering she was starving, he didn't disturb her while she ate. He picked up his chopsticks and began to eat slowly and deliberately.
After Shangguan Wu had eaten half his fill, he looked up at Gu Yunzhen.
It must be said, he is truly a sight to behold.
Gu Yunzhen noticed her gaze, looked up and met her eyes: "Are you full?"
