Knock knock—
As the knocking sounded, the butler, Uncle Zhang, came in.
"Fourth Young Master, the fourth young lady of the Shangguan family has come to visit you. Would you like to see her?"
In an instant, the study was so quiet you could hear a pin drop.
"Is this it? She really came? Could it be that she's taken a liking to you?"
Old Man You let out a "hey!" and his probing gaze fell on someone's waist and abdomen, looking as lewd as a decrepit old man.
Gu Yunzhen's face instantly turned as black as the bottom of a pot, and he coldly ordered, "Eleven, throw him into the Blackwater Pool."
"No, I don't want to feed the fish!"
Old Man You wailed while hugging his desk, but Gu Shiyi still forcibly dragged him out of the study.
Uncle Zhang's lips twitched slightly as he watched; Old You was feeding the fish more and more often.
Gu Yunzhen pressed her temples and instructed the butler, "Bring the person over."
"Yes, Fourth Young Master."
Zhang Bo respectfully left the study, and as he went downstairs, he used his walkie-talkie to notify the guardhouse to let him through. When he walked out of the villa, a white Cayenne was parked in front of the villa's steps.
Du Wei got out of the car first to open the car door and hold an umbrella for Shangguan Wu.
The car door opened.
Shangguan Wu stepped out of the car with her long, slender legs, walked confidently and gracefully up the steps, and nodded to Uncle Zhang.
"Please lead the way, butler."
If it were any other young lady, Uncle Zhang would have praised her beauty, generosity, and outstanding temperament. But this one in front of him was arrogant, unreasonable, willful, and lacked self-respect. This morning there were rumors that she had been raped by a thug and might have contracted a sexually transmitted disease. It was truly bad luck.
"Come with me."
Uncle Zhang gave her a cold look, then turned and went inside.
Du Wei frowned as she watched his retreating figure.
Shangguan Wu didn't care about the housekeeper's attitude, but she could tell from the housekeeper's attitude that Gu Yunzhen didn't have a good impression of her.
Because she slept with him?
Or did he intentionally embody the hooliganism in the rumors?
Upon arriving at the study door, Uncle Zhang knocked and said, "Fourth Young Master, Miss Shangguan has arrived."
Then, he gave up his seat and said to Shangguan Wu, "You go in alone."
Shangguan Wu pushed open the door and entered.
