"Heng-ge, here you go." Sophie handed the silenced gun to Qin Yiheng.
Qin Yiheng held it in his hand and twirled it a couple of times before it became too heavy to turn. After all, he was a legitimate merchant from Huaguo. He could just see it and that was enough. If he were to handle it skillfully, there would be big problems.
"Small and lightweight, is this for women?" he asked.
Sophie had no doubts and shook her head, saying, "I don't know, my godfather always keeps it locked in the safe."
The two walked out of the room, the doorbell still ringing incessantly.
"Heng-ge, you hide first, I'm going to open the door." A fierce glint flashed in Su Fei's eyes as she walked towards the door.
Qin Yiheng didn't hide it. He picked up a magazine, sat on a single sofa, crossed his legs, and casually flipped through it.
Seeing his confident demeanor, Sophie didn't say anything and simply opened the door.
As soon as the door opened, Sophie was pushed aside by a force, and several tall, burly men walked straight in.
Sophie closed the door, exchanged a glance with Tom, and followed behind, slowly reminding him, "Why are you all in such a hurry, uncles and elders? My godfather has already rested. I hope you can be quiet and not disturb his rest."
"Young Miss, has Master Bai really gone to sleep?"
"Could it be that you've done something so disrespectful that Master Bai had no choice but to sleep with you?"
"Sophie, have you considered the consequences of bringing a stranger to see Master Bai? I think you've lost your mind."
"I don't believe this girl's story. I want to see Master Bai! Master Bai—"
Before he could finish speaking, Qin Yiheng shot him between the eyebrows, and he fell straight to the ground, his eyes wide open, dying with his eyes still open.
Death came suddenly and unexpectedly. The others' faces changed drastically, and they all instinctively looked for cover. Some even ran towards the door, but the outcome was predictable.
Another one died.
Tom was shocked, fearing that Bai Ye had been killed, but he didn't forget to protect Sophie behind him.
Sophie was surprised that Qin Yiheng acted so quickly, and Tom's actions deeply moved her.
Qin Yiheng said casually, "I misfired just now, sorry. Now, is anyone willing to sit down and have a chat?"
Old Wu was the first to stand up: "How would you like to discuss this?"
Qin Yiheng stated directly, "From now on, Sophie will be the new leader of the R organization. Any objections?"
Sophie as the leader?
Others dared not speak out against their anger.
Tom was also shocked and turned to look at Sophie.
"My daddy's getting old and should enjoy life. Tom, would you be willing to help me?"
Sophie's way of addressing Bai Ye left everyone else speechless.
Tom, however, realized what was happening and stepped forward, saying, "The young lady is actually Master Bai's biological daughter. Now that she has inherited Master Bai's position and become the new leader, it is only natural. What do you all think?"
