Chapter 107 The Snake's Revenge

Qin Yan arrived home in the afternoon.

As soon as you enter the village, you see people gathered in front of every house.

Qin Yan pushed through the crowd: "What are you all doing standing in front of my house?"

Upon hearing the sound, the onlookers turned around.

Upon seeing Qin Yan, everyone reacted as if they had seen a ghost.

He yelled and ran away in a flash.

His house is locked up tight, what's there to see?

Without thinking twice, Qin Yan knocked on the door.

The door opened a crack, and Grandpa Qin Guang cautiously poked his head out.

He carefully looked Qin Yan to the left and right to make sure no one was behind him before opening the door.

After Qin Yan came in, Qin Guang quickly closed the door.

"Grandpa, what happened to Grandma?"

Qin Guang sighed: "Go see for yourself."

Qin Yan walked into the house, only to see a scene that shocked him.

Inside the room, an old woman lay on the bed, her face pale and her eyes tightly closed.

His lips were slightly parted, and with each breath, his chest sank deeply.

Her belly was swollen high, as if she was about to give birth.

Qin Yan rushed to the bedside, grasped his grandmother's hand, and asked anxiously, "Grandpa, why didn't you take Grandma to the hospital?"

"The videos were working fine for a week, how did they change like this now?"

Qin Guang's face darkened: "Your grandmother is possessed by a ghost; seeing a doctor won't help."

A week ago, Li Cui went up the mountain to do farm work, and when she returned home, she fell into a deep sleep.

I thought he was just tired.

The next day, Li Cui's belly was noticeably protruding, like she was three months pregnant.

Qin Guang quickly took Li Cui to the county hospital for a check-up.

All the tests were done, but nothing was found.

Li Cui's belly grew bigger and bigger, and her spirits gradually weakened.

Not wanting to affect Qin Yan's work, the elderly couple never kept it a secret.

Seeing that Li Cui was barely breathing and had no other choice, Qin Guang called Qin Yan.

Qin Guang: "Everyone in the village says that our family did something bad, and this is divine retribution for what happened to your grandmother."

Qin Yan gritted his teeth: "What bad thing did our Qin family do by building roads for the village?"

Qin Guang sighed: "People can say whatever they want. Your parents are still out of town. If anything happens to your grandma, you should handle it."

Qin Yan refused to give up, believing that Master Su would surely find a way.

The video call connected, and Su Lenghe glanced at it and said, "Did your grandmother kill a nest of snakes a week ago?"

Qin Guang nodded: "When I was weeding, a snake appeared next to me, and I couldn't get rid of it no matter what I did."

"The old woman casually swung the hoe down."

“That snake was laying eggs,” Su Lenghe said calmly. “It didn’t want to leave because it was protecting the eggs.”

"Don't you know that snakes shouldn't be killed easily?"

Snakes are highly spiritual and extremely vengeful.

Therefore, the retribution for killing and eating snakes is particularly swift.

People in rural areas generally don't kill snakes easily.

Qin Guang said, "That snake stole three chickens from the house, and the old woman was so angry that she took action in a fit of rage."

Snakes are inherently vengeful.

The snake that was killed was an egg-laying snake, and it was filled with resentment.

Qin Guang: "I also suspected it was the snake's revenge. I even asked the feng shui master in our area, who said that burying the snake would solve the problem."

"I buried the snake right away, but it didn't help at all."

Su Leng Hehe: "You buried that snake, but its descendants did not rest in peace."

Qin Yan asked anxiously, "Master Su, what should we do?"

Su Lenghe said indifferently, "Go to the place where you killed the snake, set out three incense sticks, and burn the talisman I gave you."

After hanging up the video call, Qin Yan found Xiang and was about to leave when Qin Guang stopped him.

Qin Guang: "Are you sure the girl didn't say something wrong? If you go out like this, the villagers will definitely laugh at you."

Qin Yan: "They can say whatever they want, I just want to save my grandma."

Seeing Qin Yan's determined gaze, Qin Guang stepped aside to make way for him.

But I was very skeptical about whether it would actually work.

Qin Yan arrived at the place where the snake was killed and lit the talisman.

The talisman flew up and slowly landed on the snake's nest.

A dazzling white light ignited.

Before the incense had burned out, Qin Guang was seen shouting and running up the mountain.

"Alright, alright!"

Against the wind, it took Qin Yan a while to hear clearly.

"Your grandma's belly deflated instantly."

"Your milk has woken up."

"That girl is a master."

As he said this, Qin Guang was so moved that tears welled up in his eyes.

That little kid is truly amazing.

The whole village heard his roar.

When Qin Yan came down the mountain, he was surrounded by a group of people.

"Young Master Qin, what kind of extraordinary person have you encountered? Could you tell us about them?"

"I never expected you to be so successful, to be able to meet such an accomplished person."

Considering the villagers' attitude, Qin Yan chose not to tell the truth: "It was just a lucky accident."

These villagers are cold-blooded and ignorant; I don't want them to bother Master Su.

Unable to get any answers from them, the villagers had no choice but to walk away sheepishly.

After closing the courtyard gate, Qin Yan video-called Su Lenghe to share the good news.

They didn't notice someone peeking over the fence in the yard.

"So, did you see it clearly?"

"It's a young girl, she looks very familiar."

...

It was already seven o'clock, and Su Lenghe turned on Douyin.

The first call connected to a middle-aged woman dressed in tattered clothes.

Her cheeks were flushed from being exposed to the sun, clearly indicating that she worked outdoors for long periods of time.

The moment the wires were connected, the middle-aged woman, Gu Yuan, exclaimed happily, "Old man, the connection is complete! We can find our son!"

The man was playing on his phone nearby when he heard the woman shouting. He turned around impatiently and said, "What are you yelling about? I heard that this streamer charges three rockets for fortune telling. That's so expensive. Are you out of your mind?"
