Chen Wen and her friends made an appointment to visit the old house.
The young people loved adventure and had already explored nine old houses. This was the tenth, but an accident happened unexpectedly.
A group of people walked into the old house. The originally sunny weather suddenly turned into a dark cloud cover and a cold wind.
The main gate of the house slammed shut automatically.
Chen Wen was startled: "Should we go back?"
Her boyfriend, Jiang Yu, said, "Since we're already here, it would be a shame to go back."
Chen Wen looked at the gate and said worriedly, "But..."
Jiang Yu put her arm around Chen Wen and said, "You're just too timid. That was just the wind blowing by. Don't think about it so much."
Chen Wen looked at the heavy iron gate, puzzled. She opened her mouth, but said nothing.
Jiang Yu's friend Ran Dang had already entered the house, and Jiang Yu pulled Chen Wen along to catch up quickly.
When I went inside, the room was pitch black, and I couldn't see anything.
Chen Wen turned on her flashlight and discovered that the door had vanished, leaving only walls on all sides.
She was so frightened that she burst into tears.
Jiang Yu and Ran Dang searched everywhere for an exit, but to no avail.
As darkness fell, Chen Wen felt hopeless.
Although the cell phone had a signal, no one answered the calls.
Fortunately, she often watched Su Lenghe's live stream, and with a try-it-out mentality, she tried to connect with Su Lenghe.
Su Lenghe spoke gently, comforting him softly, "Don't be afraid, turn on the flashlight first, let me see what's going on around us."
Chen Wen's panicked heart gradually calmed down.
The scene of their location appeared on the phone screen.
The walls are mottled, the furniture is decaying, and through the broken doors and windows, you can see a desolate courtyard...
Suddenly, the image on the screen began to change.
The mottled walls gradually became brand new, the desolate courtyard became vibrant, and the broken doors and windows gradually became intact.
What's going on? Is this a panoramic projection?
I work with projectors, and I can't achieve that effect yet.
This is so exciting! Is it like time has turned back?
Chen Wen stared at the screen, then looked up in disbelief at the scene before her; nothing had changed.
Jiang Yu and Ran Dang appeared in the shot, their expressions unchanged.
Seeing Chen Wen's pale face, Jiang Yu asked with concern, "What's wrong?"
Chen Wen's voice trembled, and she could barely speak: "Your appearance... has changed."
Jiang Yu didn't understand and walked over.
Upon seeing the scene on the screen, he couldn't help but swear.
"Holy crap, what's going on?"
"Why is it that nothing has changed in my eyes?"
Su Lenghe said calmly, "Electronic devices can see things that are invisible to the naked eye."
On the screen, the images continued to change.
Large "double happiness" stickers were pasted on the windows, doors, and the center of the walls, and red silk was hung everywhere, creating a festive scene.
The scene shifts to two people dressed in ancient wedding attire, performing a wedding ceremony.
The man was forced to kneel on the ground by two men dressed as servants, his hands tied behind his back, as he struggled continuously.
He was saying something, his words were agitated, and his expression was resolute.
The bride covered her face and wept, her tears soaking her red veil.
The groom looked resolute, as if he were rebelling against the wedding.
Everyone was trying to dissuade her, when suddenly the bride rushed over and crashed into a pillar next to her.
Several pieces of wood were knocked off the thick pillar.
The bride fell to the ground, her red veil soaked with blood.
Instant chaos ensued.
Suddenly, everyone disappeared, leaving only the bride.
The bride, who had fallen to the ground, slowly got up.
Chen Wen was so frightened that she ran away and hugged Jiang Yu tightly.
Ran instinctively stepped back, stepping on something on the ground and making a noise.
The bride suddenly turned around and faced the group.
"Ah—" Chen Wen let out a scream that echoed through the sky.
[How scary! Did the bride see this?]
Oh no, could it be that she's looking for a groom?
[I can feel her anger even through the screen. Is she going to kill someone?]
Su Lenghe's voice was cold: "Don't be afraid, it's just an illusion. Follow my instructions."
Chen Wen obediently nodded: "I'll listen to you."
Jiang Yu and Ran Dang, however, did not think so.
"Run! Only a fool wouldn't run."
"Run! There's a ghost!"
The two screamed and ran around in all directions.
Chen Wen tried to calm them down: "Calm down, listen to the anchor."
Faced with immense fear, the string of reason snapped long ago.
Jiang Yu took a couple of steps, then suddenly turned around, grabbed Chen Wen's hand, and ran too.
They located the window on the screen, kicked open the broken window, and climbed out.
[I was just thinking that this guy was no good, only caring about running away, but luckily I remembered I have a girlfriend.]
The first action is instinct, the second is reason.
[This man is worthy of your lifelong commitment; he didn't run away alone in the face of danger. Wishing him a long and happy life together.]
Su Lenghe's voice was cold: "Don't wake her up, or she won't live more than a week."
The gate was right in front of them, but they didn't care about anything else; they only cared about escaping.
They had no idea that a red figure was standing behind them.
The camera shakes, and the shape of the gate appears in the frame.
The plaque, leaning to one side, was covered with cobwebs, but the two large characters "Fang Zhai" could still be vaguely seen.
They ran quite a distance before they came to their senses.
Looking back, the house was already far behind.
Ran Dang said smugly, "Although you were very accurate before, you got it wrong this time, and we're still fine."
Su Lenghe's eyes turned cold: "Is that so?"
"Yes..." Just as Ran Dang was about to reply, he swayed and fell to the ground.
Jiang Yu was about to check on his good brother when his mind went blank and he fainted.
