Su Lenghe's deep black eyes were as sharp as a hawk's, as if they could see through a person's secrets.
A chill ran through Han Luo, a bone-chilling cold.
Xu Ziming was stunned for a while before he reacted, and he subconsciously moved away from Han Luo.
Although I didn't like her, I never thought she would harm my brother. After all, killing my brother wouldn't do her any good.
However, Su Lenghe's judgment would not be wrong; her saying this meant that Han Luo must have harmed someone.
"Su Lenghe, what nonsense are you spouting? I wouldn't even dare step on an ant normally, and you're saying I'm harming people!"
"I didn't bring this jinx here, so if you want revenge, you should go after someone else!"
Han Luo's face was streaked with tears, and she looked wronged and aggrieved.
What are you talking about?
The powerful male voice drew everyone's attention.
Su Lenghe glanced to the side and saw a middle-aged man with graying temples walking over. He looked exactly like the Xu brothers.
"dad."
"Dongyi." Han Luo threw herself into Xu Dongyi's arms, crying her heart out.
She clutched her chest and, haltingly, embellished the story: "I only mentioned a rumor, and Miss Su is so wronged, sob sob..."
Xu Ziming looked at his father's ashen face and felt a pang of anxiety. It seemed that his father had believed Han Luo's words.
Su Lenghe gave him a reassuring look, then watched her performance with cold eyes.
Han Luo sobbed, "If my death can prove my innocence, then let me die..."
As she spoke, she ran outside, but Xu Dongyi grabbed her, and Han Luo forcefully shook her off: "Don't worry about me."
Xu Dongyi said with heartache, "Zimo, you'd better not associate with shady people. Take Miss Su away!"
He emphasized the last few words, his tone leaving no room for refusal.
Su Lenghe said coldly, "Miss Han, are you in such a hurry to go out because you want to find your aunt?"
Han Luo's face turned pale instantly: "Are you talking nonsense? I don't have an aunt at all!"
She sized up Su Lenghe, wondering what the other woman knew.
Xu Dongyi shouted, "Show them out!"
Su Lenghe gave a cold laugh: "You're feeling guilty."
Han Luo's face turned ashen with anger: "The innocent are innocent!"
She glared at Su Lenghe and then gave Han Dongyi a pitiful look.
Xu Ziming: "Dad, this woman almost killed my brother. You mustn't be fooled by her."
Han Luo opened his mouth wide in exaggerated manner: "What good would it do me to kill Ziyu?"
She said gently, "I know you don't like me, but I married Dongyi because I love him. I plan not to have children for the rest of my life because I don't want you to worry about me. Don't worry."
Xu Dongyi couldn't stand it anymore: "Enough, Zimo, don't be prejudiced against Xiao Luo. She has already given enough."
Su Lenghe's tone was icy: "Of course there are benefits."
The scene fell silent instantly, and everyone's eyes were focused on Su Lenghe.
She slowly began, "Mr. Xu, are you planning to hand over the entire company to Xu Ziyu?"
Xu Dongyi frowned and nodded impatiently. He wanted to see what kind of story she could come up with to frame Han Luo.
"Your will states that after your death, a trust will be placed in Han Luo's name to ensure her future livelihood."
Xu Dongyi nodded again, a hint of surprise flashing in his eyes.
Apart from the lawyer, no one else knew about this.
As if she knew what was on his mind, Su Lenghe continued, "Unfortunately, the woman next to you discovered your will. She felt that she hadn't received enough, so she came up with a scheme."
“Once Xu Ziyu dies, she can then persuade you to have another child so she can get more money from you.”
A flicker of panic crossed Han Luo's face, but he quickly regained his composure: "You can say whatever you want without any evidence."
Her trembling voice betrayed her fear.
Su Lenghe nodded, acknowledging the need for evidence. She held a talisman between her hands and waved it at Han Luo.
Han Dongyi saw a yellow object flash by. He reached out to block it, but unexpectedly, the object seemed to have a spirit and turned around and flew towards Han Luo.
The talisman stuck to Han Luo's body and disappeared instantly.
Han Luo was startled. She checked her body and, finding no changes, breathed a sigh of relief.
Su Lenghe: "What is your relationship with the company's HR department?"
Han Luo wanted to say that they had no relation, but the words that came out of her mouth changed: "She's my aunt!"
She quickly covered her mouth, looking panicked.
Su Lenghe: "It's no use. This is a truth talisman. No matter what I ask you, you will tell the truth."
Xu Ziming immediately asked, "How did you harm my brother?"
Han Luo: "I had my aunt go to the hospital to burn a talisman. Then that woman will turn into a ghost and take him away."
"That way I can kill him without him noticing, and then I can have a child, and all of the Xu family's assets will be mine."
Xu Dongyi asked with some skepticism, "What's the password for the bank card at home?"
If Su Lenghe used some means to make Han Luo say such things, wouldn't that be wronging Han Luo?
The password to Han Luo's card was known only to the two of them, making it the easiest way to verify whether Han Luo was being controlled.
The moment Han Dongyi revealed his bank card PIN, he knew that Han Luo was telling the truth.
She really wanted to kill Xu Ziyu. He was so angry that his head was spinning. He pointed at Han Luo's nose and said, "I gave you so much money, why did you do this? Don't you love me as a person?"
Han Luo's face was streaked with panicked tears, which she desperately tried to suppress and stop herself from speaking.
But it was all in vain, and she couldn't help but tell the truth.
