Rong Yan drove Xie Tianlin to the city.
Xie Tianlin had already called his Uncle Xiang and arranged a place to meet.
"Goodbye, Master Su." Shang Liqun and the other bowed respectfully to Su Liu Lenghe and watched them leave.
What are you looking at?
"Senior brother."
Xie Tianlin turned around and saw his senior brother and junior brother. Xie Qingxuan was so happy that he hopped around Xie Tianlin like a bird.
Xiang Tianshi looked at Shang Liqun and the other person: "What's this?"
Xie Tianlin quickly introduced the two men and recounted what had happened in the past few days.
Xiang Tianshi said with a serious expression, "I have already reported the situation here, but I did not expect it to be more serious than I imagined."
"If only your master could come down the mountain."
Su Lenghe had barely arrived home and hadn't even settled into her seat when she received a phone call.
Xiong Ran: "Miss Su, please don't go back to the Su family."
“I went to the Su family to resign today and heard that they wanted to kill you.”
Su Lenghe said calmly, "I understand, thank you."
Seeing that Su Lenghe was very polite, Xiong Ran was surprised for a moment and felt a little uncomfortable.
The last time he saw Su Lenghe, she was just as polite, but it wasn't until this time that he was convinced that Su Lenghe had truly changed.
Seeing that Su Lenghe was not surprised, Xiong Ran knew that Su Lenghe had known about the Su family's plan for a long time.
Just in case, he recounted what he knew.
Since his wife gave birth, he has been staying with the child and hasn't gone back to work at the Su family home.
His day off was over, and he was getting ready to go back to work when he overheard the maid whispering.
“I overheard Madam and Miss arguing. Miss said that Madam didn’t kill Su Lenghe and has been lying to her all these years.”
“I overheard the Taoist priest telling you, Madam, that he wanted to borrow all of your luck.”
He didn't hear the rest. Su Xueying and Madam Su started arguing again about the marriage. The two servants ran off to eavesdrop without saying a word.
Xiong Ran pieced together the gossip from over the years and roughly sorted out the course of events.
Su Xueying's fate was quite ordinary, which her mother found unacceptable, so she invited a Taoist priest to defy fate and change her destiny.
Su Lenghe was the one whose name was changed. The smoother her life was in the early stages, the greater her resentment after death, and the higher Su Xueying's luck would be.
Su Lenghe showed no surprise and calmly said, "Thank you for telling me."
Although she had guessed most of these things, the nature of the masses is selfish, and he told himself that he had done a good deed by risking being fired.
“Miss Su, thank you so much. Your talisman saved my whole family’s life. If you need any help, just give the order and I will do my best.”
If it weren't for this talisman, his wife and unborn child would have died during childbirth.
The mother-in-law only has one child. It's like a parent outliving their child; she probably won't be able to get through this ordeal.
He and his wife were deeply in love, and he planned to commit suicide for her if she did not survive.
He had never made things difficult for Su Lenghe before, and had even tried to persuade the original owner of the body a few times. However, the original owner of the body thought he was meddling in other people's business and had even scolded him.
Su Lenghe said, "I do need your help, I need you to tell me about the Su family's movements."
"I guarantee I will complete the mission," Xiong Ran assured him.
"Butler, who are you chatting with?" a female voice asked.
Su Lenghe recognized the voice as that of a maid. Xiong Ran hurriedly hung up the phone and said sternly, "What's it to you? Have you finished your work?"
The maid smiled seductively: "Your wife is giving birth, you must be craving something sweet, right? Do you want me to help you?"
For so many years, she has never given up on seducing Xiong Ran, thinking that as long as she gets involved with Xiong Ran, she can take it easy to be lazy.
"Get away!"
Instead of backing away, the servant tried to pounce on her.
A cough made the servant stop in her tracks.
Upon hearing the familiar voice, she stiffened, awkwardly turning her neck to look behind her.
The gardener was standing outside the window, glaring at her.
Her mind went blank for a moment, and only one thought came to mind: I'm doomed, I'm going to get beaten up again today.
Her husband, the gardener, would beat her after a few drinks. If it weren't for his decent salary, she would have divorced him long ago.
Xiong Ran showed no intention of helping at all; he could only move his stiff body toward the gardener.
For some reason, she's been incredibly unlucky ever since Su Lenghe left.
Not only her, but also the maid sisters who mocked her back then.
That guy always falls down for no reason, and he even fractured his femur. He's still in the hospital now.
The curse that Su Lenghe placed on them was one that could amplify the things they had done to others and bring back bad luck upon them.
They are only suffering one percent of the consequences now, after all, their humiliation has contributed to the original owner's suicide.
It was getting late, so Su Lenghe continued to absorb the purple energy from the jade.
Not long after it started running, Su Lenghe heard her neighbors complaining again.
"Is the property management company just sitting around doing nothing? The power is unstable again."
The noise was loud and disturbed Su Lenghe's cultivation.
She opened her phoenix eyes, complaining, and the noise from next door stopped abruptly. She glanced around and saw that the power was stable, so she closed her eyes again and continued her cultivation with peace of mind.
Unexpectedly, as soon as she activated her spiritual power, she heard shouts and curses again.
This time, not only the neighbors next door, but also the building across the street, voiced their complaints.
"I just finished my paper, but I haven't saved it yet!"
"My game! I spent half a month playing it to pass the level. Did I save it or not?"
Su Lenghe sensed something was wrong. She opened her eyes and circulated her spiritual energy, causing the lights in the room to flicker a few times.
