Zhao Bo was completely stunned when he heard this.
"Who's been kidnapped?!"
"Su Yan."
"What happened to Su Yan?!"
"They've been kidnapped."
"Who's been kidnapped?!"
After several attempts, Yi'an felt like she was talking to someone mentally challenged.
"Su Yan! Su Yan has been kidnapped!!"
He roared so loudly that his face turned red and his neck bulged, drawing horrified stares from passersby.
Yi An turned her face away from where no one was around, trying to calm herself down.
"Do you understand now?"
Zhao Bo rubbed his ears, which had almost gone deaf from being yelled at. "I understand! Su Yan has been kidnapped, so why are you calling me? Huh? Call the police!"
Yi An could hardly believe her ears. Zhao Bo had no heart!
"We can't call the police on this. What if they kill the hostage?"
Zhao Bo looked bewildered. "Then if you call me, the kidnappers won't kill the hostage?"
Just as Yi An was arguing with Zhao Bo about killing the hostage, Su Yan opened her eyes with difficulty.
In her blurry vision, she saw a strange and dilapidated warehouse.
She shook her head vigorously, trying to clear her groggy mind quickly.
The sound of her waking up startled the person speaking, and their voice abruptly stopped.
Teacher Xu walked over slowly, her footsteps creaking as she stepped on the messy branches on the ground.
"You're awake? You woke up pretty quickly. I thought you wouldn't wake up until everything was over. But it's better this way. Watching something happen but being powerless to do anything about it is more agonizing than not knowing anything at all."
He pulled Su Yan up from the ground like a piece of merchandise and casually threw her onto a creaking, broken chair.
Su Yan changed her posture, and then she was able to get a general view of the warehouse.
This must have been a warehouse that's been sitting for a long time; even if she screamed, no one would hear her.
She took a breath and looked at Teacher Xu coldly.
What do you want to do?
What do I want to do?
Teacher Xu lowered her head and chuckled sarcastically, "You'll find out in a moment."
He raised his hand and pinched Su Yan's face without hesitation, forcing her to look him in the eye.
"You really think I'm some pushover that you can bully? Let me tell you, you've ruined my school, and you'll pay the price."
"A school? A school for scum? Shameless! Do they think they're teachers just because they produce a bunch of scum?"
Su Yan spat fiercely at his face and turned her head away in disgust.
Teacher Xu wasn't annoyed; she simply wiped her face with interest.
"Still wild, keep making a scene, the more the merrier, you'll be begging for mercy soon enough."
Su Yan's eyes narrowed. "What are you trying to do? Let me tell you, I've already made plans with my family to go back soon. If they find I'm missing, they'll definitely call the police. There are so many security cameras in the neighborhood, how long do you think it will take to find me here? You can't escape!"
When Teacher Xu heard her threat, she almost laughed.
"If I hadn't checked your family's situation beforehand, I might have been fooled by you."
He slowly approached her. "You only live by yourself. What family do you have? Even if you die and your body is left in the wilderness, no one will find it. How pitiful."
Su Yan's face paled. "Since you know so much about me, you must also know that I'm just a lowly employee who was recently fired and has nothing at home. There's nothing you can blackmail me with."
Teacher Xu said nonchalantly, "Money? I don't need it. As long as I rebuild the school, I won't lack any money. So, I don't need any extortion."
"So what do you want to do?"
Teacher Xu's expression turned strange. "I just want to give her a taste of her own medicine. Doesn't Miss Su like to go around online demanding justice? Well, I want Miss Su to experience what cyberbullying feels like."
Su Yan's eyes sharpened, and her voice became noticeably more flustered.
"What exactly do you want?!"
"What for?" Teacher Xu smiled with interest, and he lifted Su Yan's chin. "My new school needs some new textbooks."
He glanced at Su Yan meaningfully, "Miss Su is a perfect teaching material, especially suitable for educating people."
Su Yan's pupils contracted sharply, and she instantly understood what he wanted to do.
"You beast!" she cursed.
Teacher Xu looked down at her and said, "You're already in a hurry? It's still early. Your performance will be in a little while."
He turned to look at the men who were sitting and resting not far away, but whose eyes never left Su Yan.
"Stop resting, hurry up and set up the scene, don't keep our beautiful Miss Su waiting."
Su Yan gritted her teeth as she looked into their undisguised eyes.
You'll regret this.
Teacher Xu sneered, "It's not certain who will regret it first."
Yi An stared at the red light in front of her, her forehead covered in sweat, and her breathing became labored.
He rolled down the car window, and fresh air rushed in, allowing him to catch his breath.
"Will I get there if I just keep going straight after this intersection?"
Zhao Bo moved the mouse, looking at the monitor on the computer while comparing it with the map.
"Go ahead to one more traffic light intersection, turn right onto the side road, and there's a warehouse ahead."
After saying this, he added urgently, "I risked getting arrested for this! If my dad finds out I've gone back to my old ways, being kicked out of the house would be the least of my worries. And what's more, I even left my daughter Linlin at the movie theater for you!"
