Chapter 133 Who Called the Police?

Ms. Xu was puzzled and was about to ask when the warehouse door was suddenly kicked open from the outside.

With a loud crash, everyone turned to look.

As the warehouse door swayed, dust billowed up, blurring the view.

In the hazy distance, a figure stood, slowly walking towards them.

Teacher Xu muttered a curse under her breath: "Who's so blind!"

He immediately became alert and instructed another person: "Keep an eye on her, the rest of you come with me."

Yi An waved her hand to clear away the flying dust, then looked up and saw Su Yan, who was being held captive.

"Su Yan!"

He had barely uttered a sound when Su Yan immediately shouted, "Watch out!"

A dark shadow swept in, and Yi An's eyes sharpened. He instinctively raised his arm to block, and the broken wooden branch snapped with a "crack".

Teacher Xu's face was filled with a fierce light as she glared at him.

"Since you've come here so inconsiderately, let me do my best to be a good host."

Before Yi An could react, he waved his hand and gave the order: "Go!"

Yi'an had no choice but to be on guard and started fighting with the group of people.

Watching Yi An fighting not far away, Su Yan's eyes narrowed slightly. While glancing at the guards beside her, she secretly rubbed the rope tied to her wrists against the broken stool leg.

Even with the broken corner still intact, after rubbing for a while, my wrist suddenly loosened.

Su Yan quietly freed herself from the ropes and looked at the guards around her.

The guards were completely unaware of what was happening and were intently watching the fight unfold before them, occasionally muttering a few words.

"Go! Go! Hit him! Hit him! Left hook, dodge!"

Under his remote guidance, Teacher Xu was swiftly and decisively defeated.

He slapped his thigh regretfully, "Oh dear, even you can't do it, Teacher Xu!"

Su Yan quietly stood up, moved closer to him, and echoed, "It's really not going to work. If this continues, the person will have to be rescued sooner or later."

The guards didn't realize what was happening at first and even chimed in.

"Teacher Xu is alright at lecturing, but he's a bit lacking when it comes to fighting. If it were me..."

He was halfway through his sentence when he suddenly realized something was wrong. He turned his head and met Su Yan's smiling gaze.

Just as he was about to raise his hand to control Su Yan, Su Yan kicked him viciously, and a certain part of him instantly exploded.

The guard let out a wail, clutched his hand in pain, and collapsed to the ground, no longer able to resist.

Su Yan looked at him coldly and said sarcastically, "You're not even as good as him."

She looked up again at Yi'an, and the battle situation was already very clear.

Teacher Xu and her group had been knocked to the ground, crying out in pain.

Yi An took a breath and straightened up, just in time to meet Su Yan's gaze.

He smiled and reached out his hand to her.

"Don't be afraid, I'll take you home."

Su Yan stared at him for a moment, then quickly walked towards him.

Yi An smiled, about to savor the triumphant feeling of rescuing a damsel in distress, when suddenly a dark shadow appeared in her eyes.

His pupils contracted, and as he shouted "Be careful!" he took two or three steps forward and pulled Su Yan behind him.

Su Yan staggered and barely managed to regain her balance when she heard the sound of a knife tearing through her clothes behind her.

She turned around in horror and saw Yi'an's slashed arm. Then she saw the culprit holding the knife, who was the guard she had just kicked.

The guards only intended to use the knife to control Su Yan so that Teacher Xu could escape safely, but they never expected that they would injure her instead.

Upon seeing the blood, he panicked even more than Yi An, as if he were the one who had been cut.

"Blood, blood, blood..."

As he was still muttering to himself, police sirens suddenly sounded outside the warehouse door.

The guard's pupils constricted, and he collapsed to the ground, completely terrified.

Yi An was stunned. "Why are the police here?"

He turned to look at Su Yan, "Did you call the police?"

"I've been kidnapped, where am I supposed to call the police?"

Yi An thought about it and realized it made sense; her phone was in her own hands, so where could she go to call the police?

Could it be...?

He turned his gaze to Teacher Xu on the ground. "That's ridiculous," he thought. "She tied herself up, then called the police to arrest herself? What a joke."

When he couldn't figure it out, Su Yan came up to check his wound.

The wound is a bit deep; we'll continue treating it.

"Let's go quickly. He's scared out of his wits and is nothing to worry about. The police will be here soon. Let's go to the hospital to treat his wounds first."

As Yi An listened to her methodical words, she momentarily doubted herself, wondering who had actually been kidnapped.

Su Yan helped him out of the warehouse, where they ran into the police coming towards them.

"Are you alright?" the police officer asked with concern.

"It's okay, but he needs to go to the hospital right away."

The police arranged for Su Yan and Yi An to be taken to the hospital by car.

Sitting in the car on the way to the hospital, Yi An finally asked the question that had been bothering her.

"Why aren't you scared?"

It's as if something's not right if Su Yan doesn't cry from fright.

Su Yan glanced at him, her gaze still lingering on his wound.

"Now that you're here, what do I have to be afraid of?"

She turned to the driver and urged, "Could you please go a little faster? There's a lot of blood."

When Yi'an heard those words, a warm feeling inexplicably flowed into her heart.

Even after arriving at the hospital, he was still completely absorbed in that one sentence.

Su Yan could only drag him to find a doctor to treat him.

The doctor frowned after a simple examination.

"How did you get hurt? The wound is so bad. You need stitches."

Before Su Yan could answer, the doctor immediately instructed the nurse to prepare the instruments for suturing.

Su Yan watched as Yi An was helped inside by the nurse. He sat alone in a chair, head down, his expression unreadable.

About half an hour later, Yi An was taken out by the nurse.

"The wound has been stitched up. Go and get your medication. Remember, the wound must not get wet for the next two days, and you should also avoid spicy foods and foods that could irritate the wound and cause it to reopen."

Su Yan carefully wrote them down one by one.

Seeing how focused she was, and remembering something else, the nurse glanced at the two people in front of her.

"Don't exercise recently to avoid reopening the wound. Let's wait until the stitches are removed."

Yi An was taken aback, and seeing Su Yan still nodding and taking notes seriously, her face flushed red instantly.

He quietly turned his head to the other side, trying to banish the unpleasant thoughts from his mind.

After thanking the nurse, Su Yan turned her head and saw that his face was as red as a monkey's bottom.

"Why are you blushing so much? All I did was give you some instructions about not exercising, and you..."

She paused for a moment, finally realizing the ambiguity of his words.

She coughed lightly and immediately changed the subject.

"I'll go get your medicine. You sit here and wait. I'll take you home in a bit."

Yi'an watched her slender figure walk away, murmuring repeatedly, "Home, take me home."
