Chapter 138 This is your mother's car

Meng Jie remained silent, as if she didn't even see him, and continued eating by herself.

Yi Ruihua looked up sheepishly, said again, "Enjoy your meal," and then hurried away.

As soon as he stepped out of the villa, He Yunxin rushed out of the car and hugged his neck, pouting, "Why did you take so long to come out? You were a minute later than last time! Did that old witch make things difficult for you?"

Yi Ruihua finally smiled when he faced her.

"Honey, let's not talk here, let's go quickly."

The two got into the car affectionately and drove quickly away from the villa area, unaware that a pair of eyes had been watching her from behind the curtains.

Meng Jie watched the car disappear from sight with indifference, her hand gripping the wine glass tightly until her knuckles turned white.

Wu Fen looked at her with concern and called out, "Madam."

Meng Jie withdrew her gaze, slowly turned around, and said, "Clear away all the vegetables. I'm not eating; I have no appetite."

After saying that, he went straight upstairs.

Wu Fen sighed softly, "What kind of life is this?"

Su Yan parted ways with Yi An and refused his offer to see her off.

Since the place to eat wasn't far from Duan Sisi's coffee shop, she took a walk there by herself.

Duan Sisi was so shocked by this wonderful coincidence that her jaw dropped.

She slowly pieced together this complicated relationship. "So, your work partner, Yi An, is your ex-husband He Ziming's brother, and you, his ex-sister-in-law, have become his sister-in-law?"

She clutched her confused head, "This relationship is too complicated. This world is too small. There are such amazing things."

Su Yan sipped her coffee, watching her reaction with a slight smile.

Duan Sisi looked up at her again and asked, "So you're now preparing to deal with He Ziming and Che Yue?"

Su Yan's eyes darkened. "It's time to make their lives difficult."

Duan Sisi became excited. "I've been waiting for this kind of rebirth and revenge drama for so long!"

She suddenly stopped what she was doing and changed the subject: "However, before that, you need to go to Xiaoyu's kindergarten."

Su Yan was taken aback and immediately asked urgently, "Did Xiaoyu hit another child?"

Duan Sisi clicked her tongue in annoyance at her unconscious words.

"You're such a loving mother! Can't you have any good wishes for your daughter? A little girl like you shouldn't be bullying the boys in her class all the time!"

Su Yan's reaction to Su Xiaoyu, a repeat offender, wasn't too extreme.

She patted her frightened heart, "It's not about that, everything is fine."

Duan Sisi found her reaction particularly funny and burst out laughing.

"Don't worry too much. It's just that their kindergarten held an open day for parents. It's a good opportunity for the teachers to have a heart-to-heart talk with the parents and discuss the children's progress."

Su Yan agreed, and the two chatted about other things before going their separate ways.

The next day, Su Yan got up very early, prepared the things to bring to Su Xiaoyu, and drove to the kindergarten.

Under the teacher's guidance, Su Yan observed Su Xiaoyu's activity class for one period before being invited to the teacher's office.

As Su Yan listened to her teacher talk about Su Xiaoyu's recent situation, Su Xiaoyu led Yi Kangle around Su Yan's car again.

The principal stood at the office window and took in the whole scene.

He chuckled with amusement. "What mischief are those two little devils up to now!"

He walked out of the office with his hands behind his back, heading towards Su Xiaoyu and Yi Kangle.

As they got closer, the headmaster realized that Su Xiaoyu was holding a sharp awl.

He was immediately alarmed and shouted, "What are you doing!"

Caught red-handed, Su Xiaoyu showed no fear whatsoever, standing there defiantly and staring straight at the headmaster.

The headmaster felt guilty under her gaze, as if he were the one who had made a mistake.

He cleared his throat and began to shift his focus, turning his gaze to the more timid Yi Kangle.

Seeing his gaze coming towards him, Yi Kangle shrank back in fear.

The headmaster deliberately put on a stern face, pointed at the awl in Su Xiaoyu's hand, and questioned, "Where did you get this from!"

Yi Kangle shrank back in fear again, tears welling up in his eyes.

"I took it from the tool shed," he replied hesitantly.

Seeing that she had overreacted, the headmaster immediately softened her expression and said gently, "Awls are dangerous. You can't just play with them. What if you get hurt?"

Yi Kangle waved his little hands in a panic, "We're not for playing with, we're for using."

"use?"

The headmaster looked puzzled, but then he glanced at Su Yan's car behind them and seemed to understand something.

"Su Xiaoyu, this is your mother's car! What are you doing to it?!"

Su Xiaoyu showed no fear whatsoever, and poked the tire with her hand.

Upon seeing her gesture, the headmaster nearly choked on his own saliva.

"You're going to puncture your mother's tires? You really are your mother's daughter!"

Faced with the principal's praise, Su Xiaoyu blinked and stuffed the awl into his hand.

The headmaster was stunned, staring dumbfounded at the awl in his palm, then at Su Xiaoyu's encouraging gaze.

"What are you doing? You don't want me to puncture your mom's tires, do you?"

Yi Kangle walked up with tears in his eyes, pitifully tugging at the headmaster's clothes.

"Grandpa Director, please help Xiaoyu. She just wants to stay with her mother a little longer. Grandpa Director, she's so pitiful!"

The headmaster's heart melted at the sight of him on the verge of tears.

He looked at Su Xiaoyu, who had a cold and indifferent expression, and felt completely overwhelmed.

Did these two children get their reincarnations mixed up?

Why are boys so cute and cuddly, while girls are so domineering and bossy?

After a moment of existential doubt, the headmaster reprimanded him with righteous indignation: "You two brats! I'm the headmaster! Do you think I'd do something like this for you?"

Half an hour later, Su Yan came out of the teacher's office and stood in front of her car with a furrowed brow.

Seeing that she was standing there motionless, the teacher quickly came over and asked, "What's wrong, Xiaoyu's mother?"

The teacher turned his head and looked at the tire, then froze.

"What's going on?"

Su Yan was still wondering who she had offended when she heard the teacher urgently comfort her, "Xiaoyu's mother, don't worry, we have surveillance cameras here. I'll go to the principal's office right now to check the footage and see who did it."

Su Yan followed the teacher to the principal's office.

As soon as the headmaster saw Su Yan arrive, he immediately beamed with smiles and was exceptionally enthusiastic, as if she had done something wrong.

"Little Rain's mother is here! What a rare guest! Please have a seat!"

Su Yan was a little surprised. She smiled and politely declined, "No need to sit. I just want to check the kindergarten's surveillance footage to see who deliberately damaged my tires."
