When Duan Sisi heard that Su Yan wanted to meet Yi An's mother, her jaw almost dropped.
"Wait, things are progressing so fast between you two? Aren't you getting to know each other better before... you're already meeting the parents?"
Seeing her exaggerated reaction, Su Yan chuckled and said, "I'm not like you, it's not a real marriage, it's just a contract marriage, what do we need to know about each other?"
"That's too fast."

Su Yan teased her after hearing her exaggerated words.
Duan Sisi said with a serious expression, "She's no longer a normal person."
Su Yan finally dropped her playful smile. "How so?"
Duan Sisi didn't know where to begin. After a moment's hesitation, she said, "Let's start with Yi An's surname, okay? You know the Yi Group, right?"
Su Yan nodded, "I know. The Yi Group is famous in M City. Yi An is the young master of the Yi Group. I knew this when I was trying to win him over."
Duan Sisi immediately retorted, "Then do you know who is in charge of the Yi Group?"
Su Yan found her question strange. "Isn't the Yi Group just Yi An's family's? Of course, his father is in charge!"
Duan Sisi listened to her matter-of-fact answer and mysteriously shook her finger.
Su Yan was taken aback. "Could it be his mother?"

As she was lost in thought, the door to the coffee shop was pushed open from the outside.
With a crisp sound, Duan Sisi stood up to greet her: "Welcome."
Before she could even utter the words "Honor your presence," she saw Yi'an.
She turned back to Su Yan and whispered, "The King of Hell who will take your life is here."
Su Yan chuckled and looked up, gesturing to Yi An, "Over here."
Yi An walked over, greeted Duan Sisi, and then turned around to see Su Xiaoyu drawing next to her.
"Xiaoyu is here too?"
Su Yan immediately said to Su Xiaoyu, "Uncle is calling you. Say hello to Uncle."
Su Xiaoyu didn't even glance at him and continued drawing.
Yi An was used to such a cold reaction and cheerfully reassured Su Yan, "It's okay, I understand her, she's just being stubborn."
Upon hearing his description, Su Yan smiled for no reason, then quickly composed herself, stood up, and said, "It's about time, let's go."
While Yi An was still stunned by her fleeting smile, Su Xiaoyu suddenly stood up and grabbed Su Yan's hand.
Su Yan turned her head and looked at her in confusion, "What's wrong?"
Su Xiaoyu held on tightly, refusing to let go.
Su Yan patiently squatted down. "I'm going out for a bit, I'll be right back, okay? You stay here and draw, and wait for me to take you home."
For some reason, Su Xiaoyu held onto her tightly and wouldn't let go.
While Su Yan was puzzled, Yi An understood.
He squatted down as well. "Xiaoyu, are you afraid I'll bully your Aunt Su Yan? Uncle promises you, I'll bring your Aunt Su Yan back safe and sound, just like I took her away, okay?"
Su Xiaoyu didn't like him much, and as soon as she heard him speak, she turned her head away in a huff.
Su Yan was about to speak, but Yi An stopped her.
Yi An continued to patiently explain to Su Xiaoyu, "I'll only lend Auntie for a little while. If you're good, Uncle will take you to the amusement park this weekend, okay?"
While Yi An was comforting Su Xiaoyu, Duan Sisi leaned close to Su Yan and whispered, "This child heard us talking and is afraid that if you go, he will be bullied by his mother."
Su Yan then realized what was happening and immediately squatted down, saying to Su Xiaoyu, "Do you believe me? How could I let anyone bully me? Be a good girl and wait for me to come back, okay?"
Su Xiaoyu stared at her for a long while, then slowly let go of her hand, sat back down in her original position, and began to draw again.
Su Yan looked at Su Xiaoyu with a smile. She had always thought that Su Xiaoyu was a child without feelings, but that was not the case. Xiaoyu just didn't know how to express herself.
She bent down and kissed Su Xiaoyu's cheek, whispering in a voice only the two of them could hear, "Baby, be a good girl and wait for Mommy to come back."
