Yi An was bewildered when she suddenly became angry after they had been chatting happily. Just as she was about to chase after her, she noticed that Su Yan had stopped.
"Do you realize you're wrong? Are you going to apologize to me?"
He chuckled and guessed, then waved his hand dismissively, saying magnanimously, "It's alright, I didn't take it to heart. You..."
Su Yan turned to the side, and Yi An's words caught in her throat.
Su Yan's gaze darted back and forth between the angry Yi Kangle and the bewildered Yi An.
After a brief moment of surprise, Yi An's expression quickly turned serious.
"Xiao Bao, who brought you here? Weren't you filming a commercial?"
No sooner had he finished speaking than Lin Hui's anxious voice came from not far away.
"Xiao Bao, where did you go? Xiao Bao?"
Lin Hui pretended to have just noticed Yi An and the others, looking at Su Yan and the others with a surprised expression several times.
"Brother An, Miss Su, what brings you to the amusement park?"
Before Yi An could ask, she explained to herself, "What a coincidence! Xiao Bao had something to do on set today, so I brought him along. I didn't expect to run into you guys."
Her explanation did not soften Yi An's expression in the slightest.
"Lin Hui, are you...?"
Before he could finish his question, Yi Kangle suddenly ran up, shoved Yi An, and shouted angrily with tears of grievance in her eyes, "I don't like Dad anymore! I hate Dad the most!"
After he shouted, he turned and ran away.
Lin Hui looked back and forth between Yi Kangle's retreating figure and Yi An, and finally stamped her foot, complaining to Su Yan, "Miss Su, even if you're impatient, you don't have to provoke a child like that!"
After she finished complaining, she followed Yi Kangle's retreating figure.
Su Yan was so angry at being scolded that she laughed.
"What does this have to do with me?"
She turned her anger on Yi'an, "What are you still standing here for! Hurry up and go after the child!"
Yi An remained motionless, watching the direction where Yi Kangle had run off into the distance, and sighed deeply.
"Xiao Bao is not a child anymore, it's time to accept reality."
Su Yan immediately retorted, "How old is he? What does he know? He doesn't even know why his parents aren't together. What do you expect him to know? Aren't your demands on him a bit too much?"
Yi An turned to look at her, "Then what do you want me to do? If I want him to be happy, there's only one way: I marry Lin Hui. Is that even possible?"
"Is that impossible?" Su Yan asked without even thinking.
Yi An stared at her incredulously, "You want me to marry Lin Hui?!"
Su Yan was puzzled by his excited reaction and began to analyze it for him: "What's wrong with that? You need someone to deal with your mother anyway. Lin Hui is Xiao Bao's mother and also has your mother's favor. Isn't she the most suitable and willing tool?"
Hearing her rational analysis, and how she even helped Lin Hui persuade her, Yi An felt a sudden surge of anger.
"Su Yan!"
He suddenly roared, startling Su Yan.
Su Yan instinctively covered Su Xiaoyu's ears, "What are you doing? Why are you shouting so loudly all of a sudden!"
When Yi'an heard her complaining about herself, she didn't know what to say and felt a tightness in her chest.
"You...you've really gone too far!"
He stammered out those words, then turned and walked away angrily.
Su Yan felt that he had been acting strangely all day. First, he inexplicably started acting out a family drama, and now he was inexplicably angry.
She looked down at Su Xiaoyu for help: "Am I being unreasonable?"
Su Xiaoyu took a bite of the sweet treat and nodded solemnly.
Whether he was genuinely standing up for Yi'an or after receiving a bribe remains unknown.
Yi Kangle stopped halfway through the run, wiping away his tears as he turned back to look for Yi An, but he couldn't see Yi An anywhere. He immediately panicked.
"Daddy, Daddy doesn't want Xiaobao anymore."
Lin Hui caught up, her expression not looking good.
"You're not that important to your dad. You said those things and cried like that, and he didn't even come after you."
Yi Kangle felt even more aggrieved, experiencing a deep sense of abandonment.
Seeing his tears streaming down his face, Lin Hui remembered her plan, tried to be patient, squatted down, and began to speak to him earnestly.
"See? I told you so. After your father got together with that woman, he didn't want us anymore. It was because of that wicked woman that he stole your father away."
She glanced at Yi Kangle's expression and asked gently, "Will you still like that Aunt Su in the future?"
Yi Kangle immediately shook his head like a rattle drum.
Lin Hui then asked, "What about Su Xiaoyu?"
Yi Kangle gritted his little teeth and said angrily, "Su Xiaoyu is no longer my good friend!"
Lin Hui nodded in satisfaction. "So what should you do when you see them in the future?"
"Drive them away, don't let them take Dad away!"
Lin Hui smiled smugly, patted his head, and praised, "Little Bao is such a good boy. Little Bao, let's work together to get Daddy back, okay?"
Yi Kangle nodded heavily.
Because of Yi Kangle's incident, Su Xiaoyu's day at the amusement park came to an abrupt end.
While eating out, Su Yan glanced at Yi An, who was shoving his chopsticks so loudly on the plate, and sighed helplessly.
How can someone so grown up still act like a child? She's still sulking over such a trivial matter.
