The guests started discussing it.

Amidst the whispers and murmurs, Su Yan's face turned pale.
She turned to look at Yi An beside her, "Why is Xiao Yu here?"
After she finished speaking, she suddenly remembered Duan Sisi's phone call.
She frantically pulled out her phone again, where a text message lay quietly.
Duan Sisi: Honey, why can't I get through to you on the phone? Xiaoyu said she's going to Xiaobao's birthday party, are you going too?
Su Yan's mind went blank for a moment. When she looked up, she met Lin Hui's provocative and smug gaze.
She instantly realized something and turned to take Su Xiaoyu away.
But before she could take a step, Yi An grabbed her arm.
"Don't rush, let's see how things go first."
"How could I not be anxious! That's Xiaoyu!"
Just as Su Yan finished speaking, the last candle in the hall was blown out, and enthusiastic applause immediately erupted around her.
The lights in the hall were turned on again, and Su Yan felt a little more at ease when she saw Su Xiaoyu standing calmly in front of the cake.
Lin Hui took in all the panic and anxiety on her face.

Lin Hui became even more smug as she saw more and more people gathering.
Su Yan ignored everything, brushed the dust off Su Xiaoyu, and carefully checked her over again.
"Are you alright? Are you hurt anywhere?"
Su Xiaoyu gently shook her head. "No."
As Su Yan breathed a sigh of relief, Lin Hui spoke again.

Her words immediately darkened Su Yan's expression.
Before Su Yan could speak, Meng Jie walked over slowly.

Lin Hui was caught off guard when Meng Jie spoke up.
“Aunt Meng, I... I didn’t mean to cause trouble. It was this child who not only knocked over the cake, but also glared at me. I was almost scared to death by that look, so I said a few words to her.”
