Su Yan held out her hand to her, "Come on, haven't you always wanted to eat hamburgers? Today, Mom will let you eat your fill, okay?"
Su Xiaoyu's lips curled up slightly before she quickly regained her composure.
She took Su Xiaoyu's hand and led her to the dining table, helped her sit down, and then moved to her own seat.
"Hanhan, Xiaoyu, you are siblings, you must love each other from now on, understand?"
She turned to look at Su Xiaoyu, "Xiaoyu, you should set an example as the older sister and apologize to Hanhan for what happened at kindergarten today."
Su Xiaoyu hesitated for a moment, then said softly, "Hanhan, I'm sorry, I shouldn't have pushed you."
Although the sound was soft, it still reached Su Yan's ears clearly, immediately making her beam with joy.
"Xiaoyu is so great, she's Mom's pride!" After praising Su Xiaoyu, she looked at Bao Han and said, "Hanhan, what about you? You went into your sister's room without permission today and drew on her sketchbook and teddy bear. Shouldn't you apologize to your sister?"
Bao Han ignored her words, pretending not to hear anything, and just kept his head down, munching on the hamburger in his hand.
"Hanhan!" Su Yan reminded him again.
Bao Han raised his head directly and said, "Why should I apologize to her? All I did was draw from her sketchbook! I even got beaten up because of her! You beat her up, and then I'll apologize!"
He finished speaking confidently, staring intently at Su Yan.
Su Yan was speechless for a long time after hearing his words. Just as she was about to speak, a small hand grabbed her sleeve.
Su Yan looked down and saw Su Xiaoyu's hand.
She looked at Su Xiaoyu in disbelief. Su Xiaoyu quickly withdrew her hand and pretended to eat the fries in front of her as if nothing had happened.
Su Yan took a breath and continued to lecture Bao Han: "I'll forgive you this time because I pleaded for you. But you can't do it again next time."
Upon hearing this, Bao Han snorted in dissatisfaction and turned his head to the other side.
Su Yan noticed that the atmosphere at the dinner table was a bit strange, so she took the initiative to change the subject.
"Tomorrow is Hanhan and Xiaoyu's birthday. How about Mom throws you a birthday party?"
Bao Han immediately replied, "My mom has already celebrated my birthday."
Su Yan choked for a moment, but her expression quickly returned to normal. She asked softly, "Would Hanhan like to have two birthdays and eat cake twice?"
Bao Han hesitated for a moment, then shouted with joy, "Yes!"
Su Yan's expression softened. "Shall we order the cake tomorrow morning?"
After finishing their meal, Bao Han and Su Xiaoyu went off to do their own thing.
After finishing all the housework, Su Yan called Duan Sisi.
"Sisi, can I use your coffee shop tomorrow night? I want to throw a birthday party for Chenchen and Xiaoyu."
Upon hearing this, Duan Sisi immediately agreed excitedly, "Great! Can I bring my family?"
"Of course! You can bring your mother-in-law too."
Su Yan breathed a sigh of relief after finishing the matter. She turned to look at the two children on the carpet. Although they were not far apart, it seemed as if there was an invisible wall between them.
She just looked at it, and her brows couldn't help but furrow.
Is it really because Hanhan was not around for four years that the siblings have grown so estranged?
The next morning, Su Yan got up very early and made not only the steamed buns that Bao Han liked to eat, but also the sandwiches that Su Xiaoyu liked to eat.
She worked up a sweat before the three of them could finally sit down and eat in peace.

"Does Xiaoyu like this?"
Su Xiaoyu glanced at her quickly, then straightened up, neither nodding nor shaking her head.
Su Yan was somewhat surprised to receive no answer. Just as she was about to ask something, she was drawn to Bao Han's exclamation.
"Wow!"
Su Yan quickly walked to his side and saw that his whole face was pressed against the counter, his eyes wide with amazement as he looked at a chocolate cake piled high with images of Car Heroes.
"I want this! I want this!!"
He pointed at it and jumped around excitedly towards Su Yan.
Seeing his unusually exaggerated expression and actions, Su Yan smiled helplessly and turned to ask the shop assistant, "Do you have this cake?"
"Yes, we can make it fresh. This is an ice cream cake, which is especially popular with children."
Just as Su Yan was about to decide on this one, she suddenly remembered something, turned her head to look at the strawberry cake from before, pointed and asked, "Can these two be combined?"
The shop assistant shook his head with difficulty, "I'm sorry, that's not possible."
Su Yan gave a regretful "Oh" and sought advice from Su Xiaoyu and Bao Han.
"Should we have the strawberry cake or this chocolate cake?"
Before the words were even finished, Bao Han blurted out, "Chocolate! I want chocolate! I want chocolate!"
He repeated it three times in a row, as if that would express his firm stance.
Su Yan looked at him with a smile, affectionately patted his head, and turned to the shop assistant, saying, "How about this chocolate? How long will it take to pick it up?"
"It should be ready around three or four in the afternoon."
After setting a time to pick them up, Su Yan led Bao Han and Su Xiaoyu outside.
Su Xiaoyu looked downcast, glancing back at the strawberry cake she had her eye on with lingering reluctance.
Bao Han, on the other hand, looked extremely excited, as if he wanted to jump up from the ground.
"Cars cake! I love Cars, and I love ice cream cakes!"
Seeing the joy practically radiating from his little face, Su Yan couldn't help but tease, "Hanhan, you're so easily pleased! Well, Mommy knows now. How about we order this cake every year for your birthday?"
Upon hearing this, Bao Han jumped up excitedly. He threw himself into Su Yan's arms, shamelessly acting spoiled.
"I love my mom the most!"
These words startled Su Yan, but she immediately beamed with happiness.
She patted Bao Han on the back and turned to look for Su Xiaoyu.
"Light rain."
But when she turned around, there was no sign of Su Xiaoyu.
The happy smile on Su Yan's face vanished abruptly, replaced entirely by panic.
She pulled Bao Han back to the cake shop they had just been at.
