Feng Lin glanced at the teacher discreetly, then smiled and affectionately patted Bao Han's head.
"Hanhan, you missed your sister, didn't you? Your sister came to see you. Your sister came to take you home to find your mother."
Upon hearing the word "Mom," Bao Han's eyes widened suddenly, gleaming with excitement.
He jumped up excitedly, shouting, "I want to find my mom! I want to find my mom!"
Feng Lin was very satisfied with his reaction, and slowly raised her head to look at the teacher.
"Teacher, can I take Hanhan with me now?"
Seeing the intimate interaction between Bao Han and her, the teacher's remaining doubts vanished.
"Okay, I'm so sorry, Sister Hanhan. You haven't been here much, so I'm not familiar with you."
Feng Lin waved her hand generously: "It's alright, it's your teacher's responsibility. With you being so vigilant, we parents are very reassured."
"I'm glad you understand."
Seeing that she had achieved her goal, Feng Lin relaxed completely. She even turned to Bao Han with ease and said, "Hanhan, say goodbye to your teacher."
Bao Han obediently waved and said, "Goodbye, teacher."
The teacher smiled and waved: "Goodbye, Hanhan, see you tomorrow."
Feng Lin smiled and, holding Bao Han, turned and walked out the door.
Before I even reached the door, I suddenly heard voices behind me.
"Who is she? Which child's parent? I've never seen her before?"
The teacher hurriedly explained, "Principal, she is Hanhan's older sister. She hasn't come here much before."
Upon hearing this, Feng Lin quickened her pace. Just as she was about to leave this place of trouble, the headmaster called out to her from behind.
"Sister Hanhan".
Feng Lin stopped abruptly, standing rooted to the spot without turning around.
"What's wrong?"
The headmaster watched her retreating figure, vaguely feeling something was off, and took the initiative to walk up to her.
"Sister Hanhan, you can't take Hanhan away yet."
Upon hearing this, Feng Lin turned her head and asked in surprise, "Why?"
After saying this, she realized her lapse in composure and quickly explained, "Didn't the teacher say that I'm Hanhan's older sister and can take Hanhan away? Do you doubt that I'm Hanhan's sister?"
Following her words, the principal glanced at the teacher and continued to smile apologetically.
"Of course not. Sister Hanhan, please don't get agitated. This is also a rule of our kindergarten. If anyone we don't know well wants to pick up a child, we must call the parents to confirm first. This is to be responsible for the child and the parents. Please understand."
After explaining in a very polite manner, he turned to the teacher and said, "Call Hanhan's mother to confirm."
Feng Lin panicked. She stared intently at the teacher as she pulled out her phone and searched for Su Yan's number in her contacts.

The principal smiled and was about to explain, but the teacher said, "I found it, I'll call it right away."
Feng Lin didn't care about anything else. She quickly turned her head to look at the teacher and saw her press the call button. Her heart jumped into her throat.
Just then, Feng Lin's phone rang.
Feng Lin took out her phone and saw the name flashing on the screen; her brows relaxed.
She turned her phone over to show the principal and teachers, "Look, Hanhan's mom called me."
The teacher stared blankly at the words "Hanhan's Mom" flashing on her phone screen for a moment, then hung up the phone.
Feng Lin answered the phone, "Hello, Hanhan's mom, I've picked up Hanhan, don't worry."
"Oh, right, the principal was just about to call you to confirm, and you called just in time. I'll give the phone to the principal and have him tell you."
She smiled and handed the phone to the kindergarten director.
The principal glanced at the phone screen, confirmed that the name was indeed Hanhan's mother, and then answered the call with a smile.
"Is this Hanhan's mother?"
Upon hearing this voice, Feng Xiuqin's hands, which were gripping her phone, began to sweat.
She forced herself to calm down and said politely, "Principal? I'm Hanhan's mother. Oh dear, I had something to do today and couldn't get away, so I had Hanhan's sister pick him up. I hope I didn't cause you any trouble?"

She was so close to being exposed. But thankfully, fate was on her side.
She hugged Bao Han tightly and walked away.
When kindergarten let out, Su Yan came to pick up Bao Han and Su Xiaoyu, but only picked up Su Xiaoyu; Bao Han was nowhere to be seen.
She was somewhat surprised and quickly stopped the teacher.
Why didn't Hanhan come out?
The teacher seemed even more surprised when Su Yan asked this question.
"Hasn't Hanhan already been picked up?"
Su Yan exclaimed in surprise, "They picked them up?! Who picked them up?"
The teacher was stunned by her strong reaction.
"Sister Hanhan, didn't I just call you about this? Hanhan's mom, don't you remember?"
Su Yan's head buzzed. She repeatedly recalled everything that had happened today, but she couldn't think of anything about receiving the call from the kindergarten.
"I didn't receive your call. Who did you give the child to?"
The teacher was terrified. She comforted Su Yan and then went to call the principal.
The headmaster rushed over and saw Su Yan, whose face was deathly pale.
"Xiaoyu's mom."
Su Yan looked up and stared intently at him, "Who did you entrust Hanhan to?"
The headmaster then realized there was a problem. He first calmed Su Yan down and told her about what had happened and Feng Lin's various characteristics.
As Su Yan listened to these characteristics, a figure gradually emerged in her mind.
"You're saying that Hanhan's sister picked him up?"
The principal's face was grave. "If there's no such person, then we should call the police immediately and not delay any longer."
Although Su Yan was almost certain that Feng Lin had taken Bao Han away, she was still hesitant about whether to report it to the police.
She roughly guessed Feng Lin's purpose in taking Bao Han away, but she didn't know exactly what Feng Lin wanted.
Just as she was hesitating, the phone in her bag rang.
Su Yan took out her phone, looked at the unfamiliar number flashing on it, and answered it without hesitation.
"Hey, Feng Lin, is Hanhan with you?"
Her words were almost certain.
"Come alone, and don't do anything you shouldn't do, unless you want to never see Hanhan again."
