The driver was taken aback when he heard that the person had changed. He wanted to ask, but then thought that knowing more might not be of any benefit to him.
He truthfully replied, "No, I had this car professionally modified. Even if the police find out it's a brake problem, they won't realize it was intentionally sabotaged. They'll just assume it's broken and end it as a traffic accident."
"What about Meng Jie? Won't the people in the company be suspicious of your sudden disappearance?" Yi Ruihua asked immediately afterward.
Driver: "It's alright. I resigned a long time ago citing family reasons, so they won't suspect me."
"One last question, are you sure Meng Jie is dead?"
The driver hesitated when he heard the question.

When she made the call, Yi Ruihua had already rushed to the hospital.

The secretary was stunned when she saw him like this, and then hurriedly led him to Meng Jie's ward.
