Duan Sisi searched the house inside and out, even under the sofa and under the bed, but she couldn't find any trace of Miaowu.
"Where's the meow?" she asked Qiao Chen, turning around.
Qiao Chen's expression suddenly changed, and she stammered, unable to speak.
When Duan Sisi couldn't get an answer from him, she went to ask Qiao Xiufen, "Mom, where's Miaowu? Have you seen it?"
Qiao Xiufen acted as if she hadn't heard anything, changed her shoes, walked straight to the sofa and sat down, and casually turned on the TV.
Duan Sisi began to realize that something was wrong.
She started rummaging through drawers and cabinets, and after searching for a while, she discovered that not only was Meow Meow missing, but all of Meow Meow's belongings had also vanished.

Duan Sisi's eyes trembled; she could hardly believe her ears.

Upon hearing the last sentence, Qiao Chen was suddenly startled and let out a fierce roar.
"Duan Sisi! How dare you speak to my mother like that! Apologize to me right now!"
Duan Sisi burst into tears, but suppressed them with an even louder voice.
"Qiao Chen, your mother threw away the cat I raised for eight years, and she hasn't apologized to me yet! Why should I apologize to her!"
Upon hearing this, Qiao Xiufen trembled with anger, pointed at Duan Sisi, and reprimanded her harshly.
"Is this how you treat me? Is this how your parents raised you?"
Duan Sisi turned her head and looked at her defiantly, venting all the grievances she had at the dinner party.
"How did my parents raise me? At the very least, they taught me to be compassionate and caring towards the weak! Unlike you, you cold-blooded animal!"
"Duan Sisi!" Qiao Chen roared, interrupting her.
Qiao Xiufen looked at Qiao Chen with a wronged expression, "Son, look at this! This is the good wife you married! She dares to talk to me like this now! She still can't have children. If she could, wouldn't she kick me out?"
Duan Sisi couldn't stand it anymore when she heard her talking about having children all the time.
"Mom, do you look down on me so much because I can't have children? Fine, then let your son divorce me. Let's see which woman he can have a child with!"
Duan Sisi's angry words directly triggered Qiao Chen's sensitive feelings.

Qiao Xiufen was stunned. After a moment, she rushed forward and grabbed Qiao Chen, asking anxiously, "Son, is what you're saying true? Could it be that she can't get pregnant because of this?"

"Just because you say it's fake doesn't mean it's fake! Why don't you ask your good son whether this medical report is real or fake?"
Seeing her so self-righteous, Qiao Xiufen tentatively turned her gaze to Qiao Chen. When she saw Qiao Chen looking as if she wanted to lower her head to the ground, she was stunned.
