Duan Sisi had no interest in acknowledging Qiao Xiufen's presence anymore; she pulled Wenrou aside.
"She's probably gone, don't worry about her. Could you get my things from the front desk for me? I'm not feeling well today and need to go home first. You can also leave early when there are almost no more customers."
Wenrou nodded in agreement as she packed her things for her.
Duan Sisi took her things and left the coffee shop without looking back.
When Duan Sisi was about to go home, Qiao Xiufen had already excitedly taken a taxi home.

Duan Jingwei sighed deeply and fell into deep thought.
Geng Ling was about to speak, but when the words reached her lips, she didn't know what to say and could only swallow them back.
Just as the Duan family was in a somber mood, there was a sudden knock on the door.

Duan Sisi was stunned. She looked at the attentive Qiao Chen beside her, and then at Qiao Xiufen who was busy in the kitchen. She immediately understood where the missing medical report had gone.
Her temper flared up instantly. She shoved Qiao Chen's hand away and stormed to the kitchen door.
"You're the one who took my medical report, aren't you?"
Qiao Xiufen was taken aback. She turned around and saw her, and immediately coaxed her to sit down at the dining table.
"Sisi, you're pregnant! Listen to your mother, and please don't get angry!"
“Yes, Sisi, have some water.” Qiao Chen chimed in.
Duan Sisi looked at the mother and child who were attentive to her from the front and back, and whose eyes were only on her belly. How could she not be angry?
"If you want me to stop being angry, then get out of here."
Qiao Xiufen and her son seemed not to have heard these words.
Qiao Xiufen beamed and said to Duan Jingwei and Geng Ling, "This is great news! I knew Sisi was destined for great things, and look, she's done another great service for our family!"
She turned to Qiao Chen and instructed, "Chenchen, you must treat Sisi well from now on, and don't repeat the mistakes you made before, do you hear me!"
Qiao Chen answered readily this time as well.
"I understand, Mom!"
