Su Yan gradually became irritated when she realized she couldn't get through to him no matter what she said.
She shook off He Ziming's hand with annoyance. "Mr. He, stop with the high-sounding words. I don't believe a word of them. I won't be coming to your company!"
He Ziming watched her leave angrily, wanting to say something to stop her, but he didn't know what to say.
Finally, all the pent-up emotions were released in one breath, which he exhaled helplessly.
"She still minds Che Yue's presence. But why doesn't she understand? Whether Che Yue is there or not, the only person in my heart is her."
The secretary said she didn't want to talk about such vulgar language.
Mr. He, are you really scumbags? Don't you know it yourself?
After saying those angry words, Su Yan regretted it, realizing she had been too impulsive.
If she goes to apply for a job at Chengyan Technology again, wouldn't that be a slap in the face?
Hearing her concern, Duan Sisi smiled and reassured her, "What's the big deal? Chengyan Technology is such a large listed company, would the president even know about the hiring of a junior employee? You're overthinking it, don't worry!"
With Duan Sisi's resolute words, Su Yan's anxious heart gradually calmed down.
"Where's Wenrou? Has she left again?"
Duan Sisi nodded. "She went to the hospital to take care of her friend. To be honest, this girl is really quite pitiful."
Speaking of this, Duan Sisi immediately asked, "By the way, how's your thing going? Did you get the WeChat account yet?"
Su Yan proudly waved her phone, "With me in charge, how could I not get a phone number?"
Stop talking nonsense! Take a look at his WeChat Moments; it best reflects his lifestyle!
Seeing Su Yan's dawdling movements, Duan Sisi got impatient and snatched the handle away, quickly taking over the task herself.
After watching for a while, Duan Sisi shook her head with a "tsk tsk".
"This carefree life is nothing like that of an ordinary office worker; he's clearly a rich kid."
Even Duan Sisi, who grew up in a wealthy family, couldn't help but show a hint of envy, which shows just how high-profile He Yao's WeChat Moments were.
Su Yan disagreed with Duan Sisi's words.
"You need to understand that WeChat Moments only shows people what you want them to see."
"So you mean he's a...?"
Su Yan raised her hand to stop her, and hurriedly tried to make amends: "I didn't say anything, don't label me. I just think that even if he is rich, he can only be a rich scumbag, and still a scumbag."
Duan Sisi chuckled and gave a thumbs up.
"Sister, insightful."
She handed the phone back. "I've got the WeChat and seen your Moments. What are you going to do next?"
Su Yan opened her chat with He Yao with a smile, "to have a soul-searching conversation."
After she finished speaking mysteriously, she typed a line of text in the chat box.
Mr. He, are you free at noon today? May I buy you a coffee to express my apologies? I've been thinking about it for a long time since I got back, and I still feel bad about it.
The message was sent out and received a response soon after, which was simply a "good".
Su Yan sent him the address of Duan Sisi's coffee shop, and He Yao arrived as promised.
He Yao looked around the shop's decor and asked Su Yan, who was sitting opposite him, with some surprise, "This is your shop?"
Su Yan smiled awkwardly, "How could I possibly own such a big store?"
She pointed to Duan Sisi sitting at the counter, "That's my boss, this is her shop, I'm just an employee. But I can still afford coffee. Mr. He, please order whatever you like, don't be shy. I have an employee discount."
Su Yan winked at him playfully, and He Yao immediately smiled.
"Then I won't stand on ceremony."
Su Yan personally ground the coffee and brought it to He Yao.
"Mr. He, please try my cooking."
He Yao: "Please don't call me Mr. He anymore, just call me by my name, He Yao."
Su Yan pondered for a moment, then suddenly smiled sweetly.
"Then I'll call you Brother Yao from now on."
Her bright smile made He Yao's heart skip a beat, and then he lowered his head shyly and smiled, "Okay, then what's your name?"
"My name is Su Yan, nice to meet you."
Su Yan generously extended her hand, and He Yao gently shook it; her fingers were soft and warm.
After a brief self-introduction, Su Yan eagerly inquired about He Yao's background.
"What do you do for a living, Brother Yao? Your WeChat Moments are quite something."
She deliberately mentioned her WeChat Moments.
He Yao smiled casually, "My family has a small company, but I don't want to inherit the family business at such a young age. I'd rather go out and gain some experience."
Su Yan immediately exclaimed in surprise, "Brother Yao is so amazing, he must have a girlfriend!"
He Yao lowered his head and smiled bitterly, "I had one, but we broke up."
"Why?" Su Yan asked anxiously.
He Yao was shrouded in melancholy, "because she fell in love with someone else."
Su Yan suddenly realized something, hurriedly covered her mouth, and looked apologetic.
"I'm sorry, Brother Yao, I didn't mean to bring up your sad story."
He Yao shook his head understandingly, "It's nothing, it's all in the past. It's probably because of me. I wasn't good enough, so I couldn't keep her. I hope she can be happy."
Su Yan also felt incredibly sad: "From what you said, Yao-ge, I feel that you still love her."
He Yao was taken aback for a moment, then laughed and said, "No, I've already moved on. What about you? You're so pretty, you must have a boyfriend by now."
