As the wind chimes of the coffee shop rang, Su Yan slowly walked in.
She glanced at the order counter; Wenrou was the only person there.
"Where's your boss?" She glanced down at her watch. "It's so late, and she's still not up."
"Sister Sisi is here..."
Before she could finish speaking gently, Duan Sisi came out with a cup of special cocktail.
She presented the cup to Su Yan as if it were a precious treasure, saying, "Darling, I knew you would come. I specially made this hangover soup for you. Be good, drink it while it's hot."
Looking at her attentive manner, Su Yan inexplicably thought of Wu Dalang being served medicine, and for no reason, she got goosebumps all over her body.
She didn't disappoint Duan Sisi's kindness and drank it reluctantly, and her stomach felt much better afterward.
"Did nothing happen when you got home last night?"
As Su Yan handed the cup back, she casually asked a question that almost brought Duan Sisi to tears.
Duan Sisi had already heard about her "great achievements" from Wenrou's words.
No wonder Qiao Chen's mother treated her this way; she must have done something incomprehensible.
Duan Sisi had a long face and didn't want to talk about this sad topic anymore, so she waved her hand weakly.
"Forget it, don't mention it. What about you? Did you get home safely last night?"
She heard from Wenrou that Wenrou had dropped her off at her apartment building on her way, so she should be fine.
Su Yan remained silent for a while, then slowly raised her head, stared at Duan Sisi for a long time, before finally managing to utter a few words.
"I slept at Yi An's house for one night."
Duan Sisi almost spat out the mouthful of water she had just put in her mouth.
She covered her mouth, looking at Su Yan with disbelief, while gesturing with her other hand.
Duan Sisi finally swallowed the water, and asked hesitantly, "The Yi An you're talking about, is it the Yi An I know?"
Su Yan nodded with a serious expression.
Duan Sisi was completely stunned.
"Wasn't it Wenrou who took you home? How did you end up at Yi'an's house?"
Su Yan answered with difficulty, "I blacked out."
She didn't know how she got to Yi An's house.
She only knew that she had lost her house key, and it was only by calling a locksmith this morning that she was able to go home.
Duan Sisi was also troubled by the same problem.
She glanced at Su Yan and asked cautiously, "Then you guys..."
Before she could even ask for the follow-up, Su Yan firmly denied it.
"No! Nothing happened! I just... took a nap."
Is that what you mean?
Duan Sisi nodded knowingly and gave her a more complete answer.
"We slept under the same quilt."
These words sounded awkward no matter how you looked at them, and they also pulled Su Yan's thoughts back to when she woke up that morning.
She stared blankly at that broad back.
"But for some reason, his back felt strangely familiar, like..."
Su Yan hesitated to continue.
She frowned, looked at Duan Sisi, and tentatively opened her mouth: "The man from five years ago."
Duan Sisi was stunned when she heard this.
"You mean, Yi'an is the father of that stranger from five years ago, Xiaoyu?"
Su Yan hesitated to answer the question, and she found herself in a dilemma again.
"Although I never saw what the man looked like, I remember that back so clearly. The two of them looked so alike, like they were the same person."
