Duan Sisi nodded vigorously, nestled pitifully in Su Yan's arms, and whispered in agreement, "Okay, wash her!"
Wenrou realized that the two of them couldn't even speak clearly anymore, and she dared not let them continue like this.
She rushed forward, snatched the wine bottle from Su Yan's hand with one hand, and pulled Duan Sisi with the other.
"Sister Sisi, Sister Yan, stop drinking. Look, it's getting dark outside. We should go home, or our families will worry."
It would have been better if she hadn't said anything, because once she did, Duan Sisi exploded, crying and refusing to go home.
"I won't go back! I don't want to see that old witch! Darling, save me!"
She kept pulling at Su Yan, begging for help.
Su Yan's heart melted immediately, and she coaxed her like a child.
"We're not going back, we're not going back, we're not going back."
Wenrou watched as the two of them tangled together like octopuses, and felt a throbbing pain in her temples.
She used all her strength to separate the two and put Duan Sisi in a taxi to go home.
She called Qiao Chen again before feeling relieved and got into the car home with Su Yan.
Su Yan's house happened to be on the same route as hers.
When they arrived at the entrance of the residential area, Wenrou asked the driver to wait patiently outside, intending to take Su Yan inside first.
To everyone's surprise, Su Yan waved her hand dismissively, "It's alright, I can walk by myself. If you don't believe me, I'll show you how to walk a straight path!"
She patted her chest confidently, squinting as she tried to see ahead, her feet wobbling so badly she nearly fell.
Luckily, Wenrou reacted quickly; otherwise, that fall would have been disastrous.
Wenrou used all her strength to help Su Yan into the elevator and onto her floor.
Seeing that her home was right in front of her, Wenrou finally felt relieved, opened the door for her, and then turned around and took the elevator away.
As soon as the elevator doors closed, Su Yan turned back from inside the room and slammed the doors shut.
Yi An, who had been wandering around downstairs for half a day, waited in front of the elevator with a frown on her face, her mind filled with the scene of Su Yan and He Zimo's entanglement.
The elevator doors slowly opened, and Wenrou stepped out with her bag slung over her shoulder. As she brushed past Yi An, she glanced at him again.
Yi An stepped out of the elevator dejectedly. When she looked up, she suddenly saw a person squatting at the door.
He was startled, and upon closer inspection, he realized that the person was none other than Su Yan.
He raised a smile, then deliberately suppressed it, pretending to have just returned from a walk, and slowly walked up to her, asking in surprise, "What are you doing here?"
Su Yan remained squatting there motionless, as if she hadn't heard him.
She lowered her head, and Yi An couldn't see her expression, so she squatted down in surprise.
He poked her arm. "What's wrong?"
Su Yan finally reacted, turning her head and staring straight at him.
"Don't speak."
She held her breath, glanced around warily, and only when she saw that no one was around did she beckon to Yi An with her finger.
"Come here."
Yi An leaned closer in puzzlement, her heart pounding wildly, her mind filled with unpleasant thoughts.
What's wrong with her? Did something happen? Or did she figure out my plan?
Just as his mind was in complete chaos, Su Yan whispered in his ear, "I am a poisonous mushroom."
Yi An: "..."
He immediately felt that his intelligence had been insulted.
He turned to look at her and noticed the suspicious blush on her face.
"Have you been drinking?"
Su Yan shook her head desperately, "Mushroom doesn't drink alcohol."
