As soon as Su Xiaoyu arrived at the amusement park, her face became noticeably brighter.
Yi An saw her standing in front of the carousel, staring longingly without moving, and immediately understood what she was thinking.
He crouched down to be at her eye level and asked gently, "Xiaoyu, would you like to ride the carousel?"
Su Xiaoyu quickly looked away and slowly shook her head.
Yi An frowned. Judging from her expression just now, she clearly wanted to sit down.
He suddenly paused for a moment, then realized, could it be that this little brat was just being arrogant and throwing a tantrum?
Having discerned Su Xiaoyu's thoughts, Yi An felt completely relieved.
He deliberately tugged at Su Xiaoyu's clothes, pleading pitifully, "Xiaoyu, Uncle really wants to ride the carousel, but Uncle is scared to ride alone. Can Xiaoyu ride with Uncle?"
Su Xiaoyu glanced at him, then looked at the carousel in front of her, and slowly nodded.
Yi An was immediately delighted; it seemed he had finally figured out how to subdue Su Xiaoyu.
He turned to look at Su Yan and suggested, "Let's ride the carousel together!"
Su Yan took in their interaction, and her expression softened considerably.
"No need, you guys go ahead. I'll sit here and rest for a bit while I take your pictures."
Yi An glanced at Su Yan's arm under her sleeve, then stopped insisting and happily led Su Xiaoyu to queue up.
As the group moved forward, Su Xiaoyu's face showed a hint of a smile, but whenever Yi An looked over, she would deliberately put on a serious face, like a little adult.
After several attempts, Yi'an had already taken in all of her little expressions.
What an awkward little brat.
Since it wasn't the weekend, there weren't many people in line, and it was Yi An and her group's turn soon.
Yi An originally planned to ride in a pumpkin carriage with Su Xiaoyu and experience being Cinderella.
But Su Xiaoyu clearly had her own ideas, and she ran towards the largest horse.
Yi'an noticed that although she was young, she had great ambitions and was determined to conquer the biggest horse.
Fearing that it might be dangerous for her to ride alone, Yi'an gave up her idea of becoming Cinderella and sat down on a small horse next to her.
Su Yan watched them mount their horses from afar, then took out her phone to take pictures of them.
Su Xiaoyu remained aloof while taking photos, not even bothering to show a smile.
Yi'an wasn't too satisfied with this kind of photo.
His original plan was to make an ugly face to amuse Su Xiaoyu after the horse circled around, even if he took a bad picture, as long as Su Xiaoyu smiled.
But to his surprise, after the horse had circled around, Yi An turned his head and suddenly found that there was a strange man next to Su Yan.
The two of them were talking and laughing into their phones, their heads very close together.
For a moment, Yi An had no thoughts; she was eager to see what was going on between the two of them.
But the carousel didn't go as he wanted; it wobbled and spun him to the other side.
If the carousel hadn't stopped automatically when the time came, Yi'an would have jumped off the horse immediately.
He dismounted imposingly, but after taking only two steps, he suddenly remembered something and whispered to Su Xiaoyu behind him.
The man who had struck up a conversation with Su Yan thanked her happily and walked back to the queue with his phone in his hand.
Before they even reached the group, they ran into Yi'an.
The man instinctively tried to dodge and make way, but before he could move aside, Yi An shoved him aside violently.
He stared in astonishment at Yi An, who was filled with hostility towards him. "You!"
Just as the man was about to demand an explanation, Yi An, being particularly perceptive, immediately apologized: "Sorry, brother, I didn't see it, it was an accident."
A casual remark completely shut down the man's impending "Are you blind?!"
When a man is upset, he can't vent his anger, so he can only accept his bad luck.
But Yi An clearly had no intention of giving up. He secretly touched Su Xiaoyu with his hand and cleared his throat as a hint.
Upon hearing the instruction, Su Xiaoyu immediately shouted "Mom!" and ran towards Su Yan.
Not to mention the man was stunned by the shout, even Su Yan was a little slow to react.
Su Yan looked at Su Xiaoyu, who had rushed into her arms, with a puzzled expression.
"What's wrong, Xiaoyu?"
Su Xiaoyu didn't say anything, she just kept calling out "Mom" louder and louder.
Not only that, she turned to Yi An and waved, "Dad, come here quickly!"
Su Yan was completely stunned and stood there in shock.
Yi An stole a glance at the man in front of her and saw his incredulous expression. The corners of her mouth immediately turned up in a smug smile.
He stretched his neck, like a swan, and strode over proudly at Su Xiaoyu's call.
"Stop calling, Xiaoyu, Daddy's coming!"
He strode over to Su Yan and put his arm around her shoulder. "My wife, I've kept you waiting."
Su Yan looked at him with the eyes of someone looking at a lunatic.
"Are you sick? What are you yelling about?"
Yi An didn't care how she humiliated him; he was happy as long as he saw the bewildered look on the man's face.
Yi'an and the others had walked away, but the man who had struck up the conversation was still standing there, stunned.
A woman ran over from a short distance away, saw his dazed expression, and poked him.
"Honey, what's wrong?"
The man then looked away and began to complain to his wife.
"There was a really strange guy just now; something seems off here."
He pointed to his head, then changed the subject: "But his wife is really nice. We were short of cash, and she was very kind to help me. It's just a pity that such a beautiful and kind girl married someone who's not quite right in the head."
He sighed, put his arm around his wife, and went to queue up.
Completely unaware of this fact, Yi'an was still smugly pleased with her own brilliant plan, and walked quite a distance away, occasionally glancing back at it.
Su Yan glanced at Su Xiaoyu, who was holding two large eggs and eating with relish, then turned her head and stared at Yi An.
"What are you guys doing? Why did you buy her so much? Can she finish it all? And if she does, won't her teeth hurt?!"
Hearing Su Yan's dissatisfied words, Su Xiaoyu retorted confidently, "This is for my uncle... mmm..."
Before she could finish speaking, Yi An quickly covered her mouth.
Su Yan narrowed her eyes slightly, "What did you do for your uncle?"
Seeing that her little scheme was about to be exposed, Yi An immediately changed the subject, pointing to a mask in a toy store by the roadside and exclaiming, "This suits your temperament perfectly! It covers your face just right, it's perfect for you!"
He paid the money generously, handed the mask to Su Yan, and earnestly advised, "Let's cover our faces, it wouldn't be good if we scared people."
Su Yan was initially quite happy to receive the gift, even though it was a bit strange and looked rather fierce.
When she heard this explanation for giving a gift, all her joy vanished.
She shoved the mask back into his hand with a cold laugh. "Speaking of scaring people, I feel like you look more like you need to than I do!"
After saying that, she took Su Xiaoyu's hand and turned to leave.
