Chapter 99 Comfort and Entrustment

In the cabin, Luo Heng sat on the edge of the bed, carefully wiping Nico Robin's cheeks and arms with a warm, wet towel.

Robin was still in a coma, his brows tightly furrowed, his eyeballs hidden under his eyelids kept twisting, and it was obvious that he was experiencing something painful in his dream.

Luo Heng used his ability to smooth out the minor wounds on her body with some heartache. He now regretted sending Robin back to the Straw Hat Pirates.

Later he thought that the same goal could be achieved by other means.

There is no need to let Robin suffer this inhuman torture again.

"Luffy!" Luo Bing suddenly exclaimed and sat up, his face full of fear, gasping for breath like a drowning man.

After a moment, Robin, who realized it was all a dream, slowly came back to her senses and noticed Luo Heng sitting next to her.

The moment he saw Luo Heng, Robin's grievances burst out again. He bit his lips and broke down in tears again.

Luo Heng held her in his arms with pity and gently patted Robin's back.

"Is this a dream? Tell me, is this a dream?" Robin asked in tears.

"It's all over, it's all over. I promise this won't happen again." Luo Heng said softly.

"Why can't you save them? You obviously can." Robin broke free from Luo Heng's arms and asked loudly.

"Kuma is Luffy's father's partner, so he has his own reasons for doing so."

"But you have to believe that everything he does is to help you and help the Straw Hat Pirates grow."

"They are too weak right now. If they don't undergo some training and significant improvement, once they enter the new world, only death will await them."

"That place is not a paradise for newcomers to run around freely." Luo Heng replied in a deep voice.

"Then why did you keep me here?" Robin threw herself back into Luo Heng's arms and continued crying.

"Xiong originally wanted to send you to the Revolutionary Army headquarters, but now I think it's a better choice for you to stay with me." Luo Heng said sincerely.

"But, but I can't let them go." Robin's tone was filled with reluctance.

"Don't worry, if you still want to go on adventures with them in two years, I won't stop you."

"On the contrary, I will make you very strong so that you can protect anyone you want to protect." Luo Heng said in a deep voice.

"Can I trust you?" Robin raised his head and looked at Luo Heng with red eyes.

"We are partners, aren't we?" Luo Heng said with a gentle smile.

"Yeah!" Robin pursed his lips and nodded vigorously.

"I'll take you to Xia Qi's bar later, and you can wait for me there for a few days." Luo Heng said softly.

"Are you going to abandon me again?" Robin immediately lowered his head and said dejectedly.

"Luffy's brother, Ace the Fire Fist, is about to be publicly executed by the navy. Whitebeard will definitely come to the rescue. A war of the century is about to break out."

"I received a compulsory conscription from the World Government and must participate." Luo Heng shook his head and explained.

"What? Luffy's brother? He's going to be executed?" Robin's face suddenly changed. "Luffy must not know yet, right?"

"That's right, but I have arranged for Feng Clay to wait in advance at the Nine Snake Island where Luffy is going to go, to assist him in entering Impel Down to rescue Ace."

"Even if the rescue fails, Feng Clay can ensure that the Straw Hat Boy can escape from the prison safely." Luo Heng said in a deep voice.

"You must help Luffy this time. He has just experienced separation from his companions. If he loses his brother again, he will definitely collapse." Robin grabbed Luo Heng's arm tightly and said with a pleading look.

Luo Heng gently patted the back of Robin's hand and gave her an affirmative smile: "Don't worry, I will save Fire Fist Ace, not just for Luffy."

After Robin rested for a while, Luo Heng took her to the door of Xia Qi's bar.

Unexpectedly, Reilly was also here. Perhaps he sensed someone falling from the sky, so he and Xia Qi stood outside the door early, waiting for Luo Heng and the others.

"Mr. Rayleigh, the other members of the Straw Hat Pirates have been safely sent away by Bear. Nico Robin is here too. We need you to take care of her for a few days." Luo Heng said with a smile.

"This is a small matter, but are those children really safe? It's really worrying." Rayleigh said without any concern.

"Don't worry, Kuma is an old friend of Luffy's father, how could he harm them?" Luo Heng explained with a faint smile.

"I see. Then I feel relieved." Rayleigh nodded.

"By the way, old man, do you have Whitebeard's contact information? I need to meet him for something." Luo Heng asked.

"Is it about the Fire Fist Ace? The navy is really calculating. They use this method to force Newgate to go to war with them." Rayleigh said with a sigh.

"After all, Whitebeard is old and seriously ill, and has no ambition to become the king. He is relatively easy to deal with among the Four Emperors. Of course, we have to start with him." Luo Heng said slowly after a little thought.

"I have an unwelcome request, I wonder if you can agree to it?" Lei Li suddenly asked Luo Heng in a deep voice.

"If it's for Whitebeard, there's no need to say it." Luo Heng said after a moment of silence.

"Oh... forget it." Rayleigh slowly closed his eyes and sighed.

"I will definitely not let Whitebeard die at the hands of the navy. As for the grudge between him and me, I will settle it with him alone after the war is over."

"Whether you live or die will depend on your own ability." Luo Heng said with a smile.

"I didn't expect you to have such a big grudge against him. Actually, the only thing I want to ask you for is to help him pass away with dignity."

"The navy is simply not something he can defeat right now. This war is bound to be disastrous."

"If he falls into the hands of the navy after his death, he will probably suffer a lot of humiliation."

"The Whitebeard Pirates once formed a deep friendship with us."

"I just can't bear to see such a hero end up like this." The more Reilly spoke, the more excited he became, and his voice trembled.

"Don't worry, I can see that the navy gets what it wants." Luo Heng said with a smile.

"Okay!" Rayleigh nodded.

Then he took out the Den Den Mushi and dialed a number.

"Newgate, I'm Rayleigh." Rayleigh said in a deep voice.

"Rayleigh, if you want to persuade me to give up saving Ace, you'd better give up as soon as possible." Whitebeard said somewhat unhappily.

"No, I have a friend who wants you."

"He might be of great help to you in rescuing Ace," Rayleigh said frankly.

"Gulala, where did this little brat come from? How dare you say you can help me?"

"Does he have the strength of the Four Emperors? If not, there's no need to meet him." Whitebeard on the other end of the phone laughed out loud.

Rayleigh turned his head and glanced at Luo Heng, then answered with certainty, "He does."
