Chapter 4 The Boy from the West Sea

Jiang Bo was stunned and couldn't help but sigh that the group had arranged a tragic identity for him. At the same time, he told him about the bond between him and Nico Robin, as they were both survivors from O'Hara.

But he had never heard of his mother, Mackenzie Foy.

Because he knew the original work, he knew what O'Hara was.

O'Hara, a famous archaeological holy land in the original novel, is the hometown of Nico Robin, one of the protagonists.

A seemingly inconspicuous island, but it is home to the world's best archaeologists and first-class archaeological teams, and has the largest number of scholars and the library with the largest collection of books in the world - the Tree of All-Knowing.

The huge pod-like tree houses precious texts from all over the world and is a holy place longed for by all scholars and historians in the world.

However, it was precisely because of its uniqueness and the desire to explore unknown knowledge that the island was destroyed.

On the island, there is a group of scholars with firm beliefs and profound knowledge. They are secretly conducting research on historical texts, exploring the true face of the blank hundred years erased by the World Government.

Among them is Nicole Robin's mother, Nicole Olivia.

Jiang Bo had no idea what the blank 100 years and the disappeared ancient country were. They were not mentioned in the original book before he came here.

The only impression I have is the brief summary in the original work.

In their research on historical texts, O'Hara scholars discovered that during the blank 100 years, there was an ancient civilization (the name is unknown). However, the scholars' unremitting exploration of history brought disaster to O'Hara.

The scholars were discovered studying forbidden historical texts by the authorities and were all arrested on charges of "intending to revive ancient weapons and destroy the world." The Tree of Omniscience was set on fire and the islanders were driven from their homes.

The angry librarian, Dr. Kuroha, risked his life to reveal the truth:

"The historical text, a gap in a hundred years of history recorded on hard stone. We always wonder why people in the past deliberately used such hard stone to record text. Perhaps they wanted to convey the truth to future generations.

The reason why history was carved on unbreakable stone and scattered around the world was because it was considered that if the text was written on paper or books, it might be destroyed.

This is strong evidence that there are forces hostile to the people who left the stones. If they were destroyed by an enemy, then their enemies should continue to exist in subsequent history.

Coincidentally, the blank century in history, eight hundred years ago, coincided with the birth of the World Government. If the enemy of the people being eliminated was the World Government, then the blank century would have been history that was unfavorable to them, erased by the World Government.

By deciphering ancient documents and several historical texts, we finally discovered the existence of a certain nation. The documents revealed the grandeur of a vast kingdom. It seemed renowned for its immense power, but all information about that nation has been forcibly erased.

Perhaps they realized at the time that they would be defeated by the United Nations, a world government, and in order to entrust their thoughts to the future, they carved all the truths on stone. That is the historical text that has been passed down to the present day.

"Ancient weapons may indeed have been recovered from history, but perhaps, along with that history, the existence and ideas of that kingdom are also a threat to the World Government. We must understand what this threat is, and the key to understanding it lies in the name of that once-thriving kingdom..."

(Note: The doctor did not reveal the name of the kingdom. "O'Hara" was mentioned by the Five Elders. The original words of the Five Elders were: "Kill him, O'Hara... You know too much")

Considering the danger of interpreting the historical text (actually, they did not want the truth of 800 years ago to be exposed), the World Government launched the Demon Killing Order and brutally destroyed O'Hara when Robin was eight years old. Only Robin survived.

The following year, the name O'Hara completely disappeared from the map. The great O'Hara and the archaeologists on the island were wiped out from the world in this disaster.

Luckily, Jiang Bo had made sufficient preparations the day before his return, memorizing the life trajectories of several protagonists all night long. However, he hadn't expected to find himself 20 years in the past, and even on Fishman Island!

Just as Jiang Bo was carefully thinking about the memories in his mind, the electronically synthesized mechanical sound rang again.

"Memory importing."
