The man nodded slightly to her, as if to greet her.
Song Mai glanced at the time; it was only five o'clock. He rarely came back this early.
Why are you up so early today?
"The old man is free today and would like to have a meal together."
Upon hearing this, Song Mai nodded without saying anything more.
During her hospitalization at Zicheng Hospital, Grandpa Chu often called to check on her and frequently reminded her to take good care of her health. She has always remembered his sincerity.
Song Mai had planned to visit Grandpa Chu after returning home to put his mind at ease, but he arrived home very late yesterday. He was thinking of discussing with Chu Xing about visiting Grandpa Chu today, but Chu Xing had already left early this morning.
She thought he might have something important to do, since he had been in Zicheng for quite some time, so she decided to wait until he came back to discuss it.
Unexpectedly, it was Old Master Chu who brought up the matter of meeting first. Thinking of this, Song Mai couldn't help but feel a little guilty.
Seeing that the couple had something urgent to discuss, Lin Ran quickly said:
"Don't bother delivering the wheat. My electric scooter is parked right outside. I'm leaving now. You guys go ahead with your business."
As she spoke, she walked towards the gate, but her eyes kept involuntarily falling on Chu Xing, with a meaningful smile on her face.
Chu Xing didn't pay attention at first, but after Lin Ran turned around and glanced at him several times, the man finally realized that something was wrong.
"Is there something you need?"
He raised an eyebrow and looked at Lin Ran, who was almost at the gate. Hearing the sound, she quickly turned around and smiled meaningfully.
"No, of course not..."
But then he couldn't help but sigh again.
She has such a perfect face, so why is it that nothing works out?
Thinking of this, Lin Ran couldn't help but feel sorry for Song Mai. It must be quite painful to be able to look but not eat.
Finally, just as she had one foot out the door, she couldn't help but say:
"It's not shameful for a man to be impotent. He should face his problem squarely, go to the hospital to get it checked out as soon as possible, and once it's cured, he'll be fine. A good sex life is still quite important."
Song Mai was thinking of having dinner with Grandpa Chu, so she went back to change her clothes. But as soon as she came out, she heard Lin Ran's words and staggered, almost falling to the ground.
Good heavens! She just made up an excuse to get by, but she never expected Lin Ran to be so kind as to remind Chu Xing to go to the hospital!
Hearing the noise, Chu Xing turned to look at her, but his face was frighteningly dark, and there was a hint of a smile on his lips, which made Song Mai shiver involuntarily.
Lin Ran couldn't see Chu Xing's expression, but she felt that he had inexplicably turned cold.
She rubbed her arms together and muttered to herself:
"It's autumn after all. The temperature drops sharply as soon as the sun goes down. It seems I'll have to wear an extra layer in the mornings and evenings."
Seeing Song Mai's petrified expression, still unaware of what was happening, she grinned carelessly and said silently:
You're welcome!
Finally, she walked over to Chu Xing and patted the man whose back was to her:
"By the way, if you need anything, I can recommend a few good hospitals that specialize in men's health. Don't be shy, it's normal. I'm very discreet and definitely won't tell anyone. Please contact me if you need anything. I'm leaving now."
As she spoke, she skipped away as if she had resolved some major issue.
Song Mai stood frozen in place, feeling like she wanted to die.
A smile that looked more like a grimace clung to her face, and she dared not take another step forward.
"No, it's not what you think..."
She stammered as she spoke, inwardly regretting that she had chosen such an excuse; it was practically digging her own grave.
The man looked at her with a half-smile:
"Oh? What kind of?"
Song Mai racked her brains trying to find an explanation, but the more she tried to explain, the less words she could come up with.
Chu Xing had already walked up to her without her noticing:
"I can't do it?"
"No, no, no, of course not."
Song Mai quickly shook her head, but at the same time, for some inexplicable reason, an idea suddenly popped into her head.
[That's not a very precise way to put it, since I don't really know if he's capable or not; maybe he really isn't?]
So she added "carefully" another sentence: "I don't know either."
Sure enough, as soon as he said that, the man's face immediately turned so dark it looked like it could drip water.
He practically spat out those words through gritted teeth:
"Don't know? Then I'll let you know."
Before Song Mai could react, the man swept her up in his arms and carried her quickly into the room.
Chu Xing threw her onto the sofa, giving her no chance to resist, and she was already kneeling down.
His movements carried an undeniable forcefulness, yet he remained mindful of the woman's wounds even amidst his assertiveness.
"I'm sorry, I was wrong..."
With the man's exquisitely sculpted face so close, Song Mai swallowed hard and offered a desperate apology.
However, Chu Xing did not give her a chance to apologize. The next second, the man suddenly moved closer to her, and a barrage of kisses rained down on her like a storm.
In between, the man didn't forget to ask her:
"Where did I go wrong? Hmm?"
His voice was deep and possessive, like a wild beast about to devour her whole. Yet, his voice was also incredibly alluring and seductive, drawing her in irresistibly until she was completely consumed, leaving not even bones behind.
Song Mai felt the air being robbed from her lungs, and she gasped for breath.
"I shouldn't have said that, I know I was wrong..."
She knew she couldn't say a man was incompetent; she had read similar classic lines from older novels about domineering CEOs, like "Woman, you're responsible for putting out the fire you start," but she never imagined the consequences would be so severe.
Chu Xing snorted coldly:
"You don't know, I think it's necessary for you to understand your husband."
Song Mai blushed as red as a ripe shrimp. She stretched out her two small hands and placed them against the man's chest, trying to create distance between herself and Chu Xing.
However, the injury on her shoulder had not fully healed, and it would still hurt if she exerted force, so she had to use her uninjured hand to push him.
However, there is a huge disparity in physical strength between men and women, and since she was using only one hand, she not only failed to move Chu Xing by the slightest bit, but also made him feel a sense of wanting to resist but also accepting.
Chu Xing grabbed her hand and easily pulled the woman into his arms.
His kisses were sometimes forceful and domineering, sometimes tender and affectionate, leaving Song Mai unable to resist them in no time.
The man traced the shape of her lips with the tip of his tongue, and Song Mai's heart pounded wildly. She felt as if she had melted into a puddle of water in his arms.
Song Mai's lungs were completely drained of oxygen, and she seemed on the verge of fainting at any moment.
