"Let's go then."
The red-haired man scooped Zheng Yao up in his arms, carried her into the room next door, and then slammed the door shut.
Just when Song Mai thought that the man would appear soon after Zheng Yao left, no one came.
When Song Mai heard a woman's suggestive moans coming from next door, she immediately understood what was happening. Her cheeks flushed, and she took the opportunity to knock on her own door.
"Is anyone there? My stomach hurts, can someone come?"
She banged on the door loudly, clutching her stomach and looking pale.
In fact, her stomach was indeed uncomfortable. It was her period, and she hadn't eaten anything, so her stomach was upset and her lower abdomen was cramping.
However, she still wanted to take this opportunity to see if there was any chance to leave the room.
Once she can get out of this room, she can make further plans to leave.
The sounds from next door continued, intermittent through the wall, but some tender, lingering sounds could still be heard. If you listened closely, you could hear painful cries and pleas mixed in with the tenderness.
Soon, footsteps came from the doorway, and the voice sounded like that of the one-armed man.
"What's all the noise about!"
Song Mai's voice was weak and feeble, as if she would faint at any moment.
"My stomach hurts, I need to go to the hospital."
However, her weakness did not earn the man's pity. The one-armed man spoke very little, like a robot without any emotional fluctuations.
"Bear with it."
Seeing that he was so difficult to talk to, Song Mai simply kicked the door open forcefully:
"I said my stomach hurts, didn't you hear me? You've seen how much your master values me! He's going to torture me, but he's not going to kill me. If I die like this, can you bear the responsibility?"
The man outside the door remained silent for a few seconds after hearing this, seemingly pondering what Song Mai had said.
After a long while, the one-armed man finally relented.
"Wait a minute, I'll go ask Master Ni for instructions."
Song Mai didn't know the red-haired man's name, but she guessed that the "rebellious master" the red-haired man was talking about was probably the same red-haired man.
That red-haired man looked like a ruthless character. As long as he didn't show up, she was safe. If she went to him because of her situation at this time and interrupted him, he would probably not only refuse to let her go out for treatment, but would also vent his anger on her.
Not only will it fail to achieve its goal, it will also backfire.
Seeing this, Song Mai heard the man's footsteps and quickly called out to him.
"Wait! You can't possibly not know what your master is doing next door, can you? How can you bother him at this time? Even if you are, aren't you afraid he'll get angry? Have you thought about what consequences you and I will face if he gets angry? I don't care, he never intended to let me off the hook anyway, but what about you? You've gotten yourself into trouble for no reason, and who knows what your fate will be."
Then another silence fell.
But no more footsteps were heard, and Song Mai, clutching her stomach, couldn't help but let out a long sigh.
Two minutes later, the door was finally opened.
Song Mai met the one-armed man's eyes directly.
She had a stomachache and abdominal pain, and the force she used when kicking the door earlier had caused her to break out in a cold sweat. At that moment, she looked much worse than she actually was.
Seeing her like this, the one-armed man had no suspicions whatsoever.
"Come with me, I'll take you to the hospital."
"Okay, thank you."
This expression of gratitude to Song Mai was sincere.
After all, it was just a stomachache, not a serious illness. If he stubbornly refused, she would have no choice but to wait and suffer.
Anyway, the red-haired man brought her here to torture her, so it's no big deal to let her endure the pain for a while.
Song Mai clutched her stomach and followed the one-armed man forward with her body slightly bent, her eyes secretly scanning the surroundings and observing the layout of the villa.
"Why did you bring her out? Does Master Ni know?"
A bald man blocked their way.
The one-armed man glanced at the tightly closed room on the second floor.
"No, she said her stomach was hurting terribly and she kept making a scene. I was afraid she might really die. I couldn't disturb Master Ni at this time, so I planned to take her to the hospital and have a few more people watch over her. I figured she wouldn't dare to do anything."
As he spoke, the one-armed man gave her a threatening look.
The bald man strongly disapproved of the one-armed man's actions.
“I don’t think this will work. With so many people, she can’t escape, but what if she shouts and attracts the police in the hospital? Master Ni said not to let her leave the room, so we shouldn’t let her leave. If we take her out without permission and something happens, who can take responsibility for that? If you ask me, we should go and call Lao San over. Didn’t he study traditional Chinese medicine for two years? He can at least take a look.”
The one-armed man thought about it and realized that what the bald man said made some sense.
"But didn't the third brother go to the south of the city? It'll take him two hours to get here."
He glanced at Song Mai and saw that Song Mai was sweating profusely and looked like she wouldn't last two hours.
Song Mai quickly followed up, "Two hours? Why didn't you wait until I died before having the doctor treat me?"
As she spoke, she bit her lip hard, looking as if she was in excruciating pain.
As soon as she finished speaking, she fell to the ground, her face contorted in extreme pain.
The one-armed man seemed somewhat reluctant.
"Fine, I'll find a small clinic and take her there. I'll bring a lot of people with me. If she dares to say anything nonsense, I'll kill her on the spot."
He spoke harshly, and Song Mai immediately replied, "I'm in so much pain, how could I have any other thoughts? Besides, I wouldn't dare. There are so many of you, all looking fierce and menacing, I don't have the guts to do anything. Even if I did, the doctor wouldn't care about me."
The bald man gave her a deep look, seeing that she was indeed in pain and that her words seemed genuine, and finally, somewhat irritated, he said to the people in the living room:
"You all come with me."
Song Mai followed the one-armed man toward the door, but the moment the door opened, the one-armed man seemed to suddenly remember something and raised his hand to signal the others to stop.
He then took a rope from the cabinet by the door and tied Song Mai up tightly, then blindfolded her before pushing open the door.
The wind howled outside the door. Song Mai was already feeling unwell and was unfamiliar with the area, so she tripped and stumbled as soon as she stepped out the door.
The one-armed man grabbed her and shoved her into the car. Song Mai could hear the rustling of leaves being blown by the wind outside.
The ride was very bumpy, and Song Mai could feel the car constantly winding around and trending downwards.
She guessed that the villa must be located on a mountain.
She didn't utter a word the whole way, only groaning in pain.
It wasn't until some time had passed that the car finally entered a smooth, narrow road.
