Chapter 1015 Don't rush, there's a twist.

Finally, Victor left the Celestial Realm without expression.

He did not inquire further about the purpose of the gods coming from the outside world.

Because Victor didn't know how much of Hestia's words were true or false.

After all, Hestia was one of the gods, and her words were likely to be biased towards her own interests and those of the other gods.

In any case, Victor did not intend to completely trust anyone's one-sided account.

The former high priest also claimed to be a benevolent person, stating that he would incite Ragnarok, the twilight of the gods, for the sake of world peace.

As it turns out, this twilight was actually meant to destroy the world.

Chaos also deliberately concealed many things, simply to let Viktor find the hidden secrets himself.

Therefore, why should he completely believe Hestia's words?

Did they bring the Habika virus?

Did they create the world's antivirus system?

Does that mean Chaos was created by them?

If we consider this world as a game, then aren't these NPC gods who will be challenged and die the game's developers?

The staff who created the game ended up trapped in the game they made?

This is indeed somewhat ironic.

What's more, they claim to be from the future.

But the world will continue to be destroyed by 'Ragnarok' and enter a cycle of reincarnation.

Before Ragnarok is broken, there is no such thing as a future in this world.

Where does their so-called future come from?

Therefore, Victor was skeptical of Hestia's account of the "truth".

Because if you completely trust the other person, it means that all their knowledge of the world and their understanding of modern knowledge are false.

He will lose himself.

I began to doubt, I began to be curious.

Who am I, really?

Standing atop the shattered celestial realm, crackling with electricity and blazing sparks, Victor remained hands in his pockets, expressionless.

But in my heart, a raging storm had already begun.

Behind them, still stood that earthen palace that resembled a stove.

The only change was the faint light shining through the window; otherwise, it was almost identical to usual.

Finally, Viktor took a deep breath.

Especially at times like these, it is even more important to stay steadfast in your goals.

At least, Hestia's words were not entirely without merit.

He confirmed that Habika did indeed exist a thousand years ago.

And they realized that the player appearing in the story might be closely related to Habika.

This has broadened Victor's current thinking to some extent.

Start with the players.

"I see."

After Victor uttered those words to himself, the magic circle behind him suddenly became blindingly bright.

In the blink of an eye, his figure and the array dissipated into fine fluorescent light, flowing into the sky and completely leaving the celestial realm.

The celestial realm is now filled with broken power lines and rugged ruins, appearing extremely dilapidated and lifeless.

However, inside that stovehouse, where only a sliver of life remained,

A young girl was idly pressing buttons on a game controller when, as if sensing something, she suddenly looked up.

"Have they finally left?"

Viktor was overly suspicious; even after leaving the house, his consciousness would occasionally drift back to it, watching her every move.

This is a good thing, at least it proves that Viktor's vigilance has never diminished with the passage of time.

And the moment I sensed that Viktor had finally left.

Hestia calmly threw the controller in her hand onto the television in front of her.

Crack—bang—

Sizzle—Sizzle—

Half of the controller was inserted into the screen, and the crack quickly spread.

The screen displays an interplay of colored blocks, with most areas flashing a single snowflake pattern.

Hestia stared blankly at the garbled television screen, muttering to herself indifferently.

"No matter how much you believe, as long as you take action because of it."

"My waiting will not be in vain."

[Task completed, target contact achieved]

[Program self-destruct startup - 3.2.1]

Instantly, the surrounding rooms were plunged into darkness.

It was as if the once cozy and intelligent little house had been completely ripped out of the world.

At the same time, the surrounding darkness slowly receded like murky mud, revealing the outline of another room.

An old-fashioned stone fireplace leaned against the wall, its burning wood casting a red glow that made Hestia's face flush.

Where the air conditioner used to be, a clay stove suddenly appeared, and even the floor was changed from marble to simple wooden floor.

There were no robots on it, only a thick layer of animal fur.

Hestia, sitting in the chair in front of the fireplace, blinked.

I stared at the fireplace crackling in front of me, but my mind was completely blank.

It was as if she had just woken up from a dream, but had no recollection of what had happened before.

"Did something just happen?"

She only remembered hearing a loud roar outside, but her own room seemed to be fine.

Unfortunately, she could not leave the small room, nor could she see what was happening outside the palace.

"Am I going to have to wait for that damned Zeus to come looking for me again?"

Hestia frowned, a hint of displeasure on her face.

She knew all too well the despicable nature of that god-king.

In the heyday of the heavens, when the gods were numerous and prosperous, Zeus had affairs with almost every goddess.

They fall in love with every woman they meet, then move on to the next one without hesitation.
