Four deep red silks hung slowly from the ceiling, and the golden silk wooden podium appeared even brighter under the focused lights.
The seating area below the meeting room was dimly lit, and those who arrived early quickly took their seats.
Tonight's speech has a large number of participants, most of whom are of very high status.
Even the Royal Knights were ordered to work overtime and personally manage order.
Gwen stood at the very front of the Knights, exuding a heroic aura. Her silver-white armor was incredibly smooth, making her resemble a cold and aloof Valkyrie.
Several luxurious carriages slowly came to a stop at the entrance of the academy, their dark purple color indicating the distinguished status of the visitors.
The media immediately turned their attention to the carriage.
"That's... the Chloe family crest, isn't it?"
The carriage door slowly opened.
The Duke of Reeves was the first to alight from his carriage and appear in the media's view.
Following closely behind was Erica, a blonde woman.
The media present were stunned.
"It's the Duke and his genius daughter!"
"I've heard that Erica is the most talented and youngest second-tier mage right now, and she's expected to reach the third tier soon. I wonder if that's true."
"It's absolutely gorgeous!"
Erica ignored the media and walked straight toward the lecture hall inside the academy.
The Duke waved to the media and then greeted the other nobles in a friendly manner.
Then, a white horse trotted up to the front of the magic academy.
A group of guards followed behind the carriage, leaving the media even more stunned.
Those were people from the royal family.
The doors of the golden carriage slowly opened, and the two princes stepped down from the same carriage, straightened their formal attire, and confidently strode towards the academy.
The two princes entered the lecture hall at the same time, both with friendly smiles.
He also smiled and nodded to the media from time to time along the way.
"Wow!"
"The two princes treat each other with such respect."
"It's astonishing that even the royal family attaches such importance to Victor's lecture."
Everyone was even more shocked by Viktor's 'connections'.
Unbeknownst to him, his influence had spread throughout the entire capital.
But to everyone's surprise, it was still Viktor's student.
The princess who was rumored to be here didn't come?
Amidst the puzzled looks of the crowd, they noticed something.
A magically powered carriage was heading towards the academy.
The fact that the carriage was without horses seemed to symbolize the identity of its owner.
The car door opened automatically, and the first person to step out was the protagonist of today's lecture.
Victor.
He was dressed in a black tailcoat and wore white gloves.
With one hand protectively placed in front of her chest, she bowed gracefully towards the interior of the carriage and extended her other hand forward.
Inside the carriage, the mysterious woman placed her fair hand on Victor's palm and slowly stepped down from the carriage.
That's Aurelion.
She wore a white flowing dress and was adorned with sparkling jewels that shimmered in the moonlight.
A hairpin held her long hair up in an updo, giving her a unique mature charm.
Even under the lights, she looked so graceful in her pure white dress.
Her temperament is like that of a fairy tale person who stepped out of the moonlight.
The media were completely stunned, even dropping the recording crystals in their hands, which rolled to the side.
The princess actually got off in the same carriage as Victor?!
ah?
Who wouldn't be confused by this?
Aurelian alighted from the carriage, lifted her skirt with both hands, and bowed gracefully to Victor in thanks.
After that, she walked towards the lecture hall first.
As she passed Gwen, she smiled and nodded to the knight commander.
Gwen blinked in confusion, but returned Aurelion's smile.
As Her Highness the Princess headed to the lecture hall, a group of reporters quickly picked up the recording crystals at their feet.
They didn't care whose model it was, and rushed towards Viktor all at once.
Judging from their posture, they were determined to get firsthand information about Viktor.
Gwen frowned. The Knights were there to maintain order, but the media didn't seem to care about them.
She had initially thought that Victor would use magic to keep all the reporters away, but Victor did not do so.
He simply stood there, letting a group of reporters surround him.
At this point, Gwen had to step in.
She walked behind Victor, her armor clanging as she led several knights to surround him.
"Keep things in order! What you're doing is just bothering us!"
The knights separated the group of newspaper reporters, and Gwen watched their disappointed faces, but remained indifferent as ever.
She turned around and looked at Victor.
He remained completely composed despite being surrounded by the media, maintaining an elegant and composed demeanor throughout.
But Gwen couldn't help but frown and said to Victor:
"Why don't you drive them away?"
Victor clearly had the means to leave on his own; even without using magic, he could have accompanied the princess.
But he stood there alone until the princess left, and even without his protection, he remained standing there by himself.
It's like they're waiting for someone.
Who else can he wait for?
Gwen got a little angry at the thought.
Viktor had no idea what kind of sensation he was about to cause.
But Viktor merely glanced at her and spoke softly.
"I'm waiting for you to come and get me out of this predicament."
"I know you won't watch me get into trouble."
"..."
Gwen paused slightly, and in that moment of confusion, she noticed that the corners of Viktor's mouth seemed to be slightly upturned.
Only his voice remained, ringing in Gwen's ears.
"Please escort me for a while."
"Sir Knight."
