"This is the only possible motive for this uncle."
He called Gwen back ahead of time, perhaps wanting to say something to her beforehand.
He might as well go with Gwen and deal with whatever comes his way.
Victor really enjoys doing this.
Finally, something seemed to have been engraved on the two iron plaques.
Two primal forces seem to have been infused into the card, with the two colors representing the power of 'fire' and 'wood' respectively.
On the back of the metal plate is an image of the 'clown'.
Another line of text was engraved on the side.
'joker'
Vega stared wide-eyed with curiosity, tilting his head to look at the two cards.
Are you serious?
"You really made two Jokers? But what's with this picture? You drew two clowns?"
"No."
Victor tapped the table with his finger, and the two cards stood upright.
The front of the card seems to shimmer with a flowing light, and two clowns appear to be staring at the outside world as if they have come to life.
A faint energy emanated outwards, but it was still clear that it possessed a remarkably powerful aura.
Viktor's eyes revealed a smile as he looked at the two masterpieces with satisfaction.
"It's an ace up their sleeve."
The card instantly retracted into Viktor's waist, and the energy dissipated into the air without leaving a trace.
Victor stood up, patted Vega on the shoulder, and said calmly:
"Let's go see Hene."
"I need to talk to her about something."
Vega flapped her wings and landed steadily on Viktor's shoulder, then quietly left the study with him.
During this time, Henney enjoys spending time in the garden.
After receiving confirmation from the servant, Victor walked toward the garden.
As soon as he entered the garden, he saw the scene before him:
Koko and Henney were mingling in the flowerbed, with Koko lying on a cloud.
Meanwhile, Kokot slowly formed a formation in the air, explaining it to Henney beside him as he drew:
“Here, runes can be inserted, which will cause the wood element magic to vibrate, making it more flexible.”
"And what about here?"
Hene pointed to a blank spot in the formation in the air.
"If we link the runes here, wouldn't it be better to create a new pattern between it and the Kaeya runes?"
"No, no, this will make the magical vibrations unpredictable. If it's too flexible, it becomes unstable. And guess what will happen?"
"explode."
"That's right."
As a second-tier mage, Heni is now able to research and use more profound and complex magic.
The two seemed to be having a very lively conversation about magic.
After all, Kokot is an ancient mage who has lived for who knows how long. As a former senator, she can certainly be considered an expert in terms of knowledge.
Kokot, who was lecturing with his eyes closed, suddenly felt that the sunlight in front of him had dimmed considerably.
As if sensing some danger, she suddenly opened her eyes.
Viktor's face appeared before her.
She immediately became extremely alert, and the cloud beneath her quickly drifted backward a few steps.
"Victor... what are you doing here?"
"I'm telling you in advance, I'm already on vacation, so don't even think about making me work again!"
Before Victor could say a word, Kokot kicked the cloud beneath him, and the cloud, with a mournful face, quickly carried Kokot away.
Upon seeing Victor, a delighted Henney disregarded the fact that Cocoy was still nearby and rushed towards him.
"professor!"
So Victor casually ruffled Henney's hair.
A warm feeling rose in Henne's heart, and she felt completely content.
Although she had already become a second-tier mage, the experience points contributed by patting her head every day weren't that many, but Viktor would still do it if he could.
After patting his head, Viktor said calmly.
"I will be away for a while in the next few days."
"You need to pay more attention to things at home during this period."
He definitely couldn't count on that lazy elf; even a dog would be a better watchdog than Koko.
So we still need to get Henney's help.
Henney was taken aback. She wanted to say that Miss Leah was there, but the words that came out were:
Where are you going?
"The northern frontier of the empire."
Viktor answered calmly.
“Lia has businesses to run in her territory and can’t keep dealing with things in the capital.”
"If you encounter any difficulties, go to that elf. She won't be lazy when it comes to matters of principle."
Hene didn't know what to say, feeling a little disappointed, but she still nodded.
"oh."
Will it be a long time before I see the professor?
"Oh, and give me the Wrightton."
Hene nodded; she never questioned the professor's reasons for making requests.
A red mass slowly coalesced from Henny's body, and a small crocodile perched on Henny's shoulder.
It yawned lazily.
What are we eating today?
As soon as it finished asking the question, it saw Viktor, who was as cold as an iceberg, suddenly shiver.
"Big...Big Brother!"
"Don't get excited, Wrightton."
Victor stared at it for a moment, then reached out and took Lightton into his hand.
The tiny crocodile was unable to move in his palm; it could only hear one sentence.
"I'll take you to eat something even better."
