Chapter 112 Old Deng, you're about to get a beating.

As soon as the door opened, a strong gust of cold wind swept through the entire carriage.

Kevlar shivered from the wind and quickly wrapped her fur coat tighter around herself.

She glanced up at the unmoved Victor and raised her eyebrows.

Outside the train carriage, the area was desolate, with only fine snowflakes dancing in the empty and lonely station.

On the thin layer of snow, not a single living plant could be seen.

A group of knights, dressed in heavy cotton cloaks, stood in two rows on the platform. Upon seeing Kefla appear, they all bowed in unison.

"Miss Kefla, our teacher instructed us to come and greet you."

As a high knight, Angus disliked his subordinates calling him "sir," a title that was considered too respectful.

He had countless students, and these students became knights of the Delin family.

Therefore, he preferred that these family knights call him teacher.

Kefla stepped out of the carriage, but she didn't move.

The knights felt a sense of unease and suddenly saw a strange, tall figure descend from behind their lady.

The man was wearing a trench coat, which looked rather thin in the cold north.

A one-eyed raven perched on his shoulder, looking rather sinister for some reason.

The heavy snow lashed at the man's face, yet it seemed that the moment it touched him, it would turn into wisps of steam and dissipate into the air.

Viktor stared coldly at the two rows of knights, and an unparalleled sense of terror immediately spread across the wide platform.

It was like a terrifying beast appearing on this cold, snowy plain.

At that moment, an immense sense of oppression enveloped the knights, causing their hearts to race.

The lead knight even became wary, placing his right hand on the hilt of his sword at his waist.

Why do they feel such a terrifying sense of oppression from this person?

So who exactly is it?

Keffa smiled and explained to the knights:

"He is Victor, the fiancé of the Gwen you all admire most."

This...this...

Many people blinked, a sense of absurdity rising within them.

The northern part of the Empire is Gwen's hometown.

The knights all knew just how powerful Gwen, who served as the Grand Knight Commander in the capital, truly was.

Moreover, she is a woman.

This independent and powerful female knight naturally attracted the admiration of countless knights.

However, many of them were hearing for the first time that Miss Gwen had a fiancé.

Their hearts sank immediately.

The man in front of them looked very intimidating, but no one dared to say anything at this critical juncture.

Some people, however, felt a sense of familiarity upon hearing the name Viktor.

"Victor?"

"Holy crap, that youngest fourth-tier mage in the capital?"

"Shh, keep your voice down! I heard this guy is incredibly vengeful and holds grudges. Anyone who's crossed him has been thrown into the sea to feed the fish!"

The knights became even more tense, holding their breath and swallowing hard in unison.

Seeing their expressions, Kefla nudged Victor with her elbow and whispered with a smile:

"Wow, you've made quite a name for yourself, even my knights know you."

Victor maintained his icy expression and ignored Kevlar completely.

He simply stepped forward and glanced at the leading knight.

Under his intensely imposing gaze, the leading knight couldn't help but tremble slightly.

Even the cold of the far north seemed far less intense than the chill emanating from the man before them.

He lowered his hand from the hilt of the sword, clenched it into a fist, as if to encourage himself.

Victor simply said coldly:

"lead the way."

"Where...where to?"

The moment the words were spoken, a burst of white smoke suddenly shot out, turning the surrounding dry, cold air into fuel.

Sparks burst forth and swirled around Victor.

The snow underfoot had all melted, and the nearby snow seemed to have been ignited by the flames, reflecting the intense firelight and turning the surrounding area a warm yellow.

The knights felt a scorching heat spread throughout their bodies from in front of them.

Victor stared at the knight.

"Go where you're supposed to take me."

"Don't make me say it again."

Yes! Yes!

The poor knight had no idea how he had angered the mage; all he could do was wave his arms and hurriedly call for the knights to regroup.

The knights dispersed shakily, mounted their horses, and even the disciplined formation they had trained for so long seemed to fall apart.

Victor walked up to a white horse, mounted it, and rode it.

He glanced at Kevlar behind him and said calmly:

"rest assured."

"Regarding the engagement."

"I will have a good talk with this uncle."
