"I agree to let you come with us. Coincidentally, I also need your guidance."
"But there's something I need to make clear in advance."
"As a knight, don't expect mages to protect you."
Gwen nodded silently and took the initiative to stand at the front of the line, her expression cold and stern.
The other team members, including Vladimir, did not have any further objections.
Because everyone knows that Gwen is the one who led the way.
With her ahead of them, they can avoid many detours.
...
The interior of the temple is filled with green, protruding rocks that appear to be randomly arranged.
Before Victor, several large gates trembled slightly with a white fluorescent glow.
The rock gate seemed to be engraved with mysterious constellations, and a powerful aura emanated from behind it.
There are ten gates in total, arranged in a circle inside the temple.
Viktor gazed at the Temple of the Wind, lost in thought.
There are six major temples in the game, and this is one of them.
And within each temple, there are ten entrances like the one before us.
Each entrance has a powerful guardian watching over the power within the temple.
The guardians' energy levels are arranged from low to high, with the lowest being level 15 and the highest being level 50.
Although the final powerful boss is of a very high level, its very existence limits its potential, making it far less powerful than the calamity itself.
Coming to his senses, Victor looked at the slowly opening stone gate.
With a jolt of dust and a rumbling sound, a dark and deep passage appeared before Victor.
A faint current of air slowly wafted out from inside.
Viktor calmly walked through the first door.
He stepped inside, and the door slowly closed.
But before the door could be completely closed, Victor had already walked out of the passage again.
A white aura swirled around him, making him look like an elf.
With each checkpoint he passed, Victor could clearly feel a cool energy flowing into his body.
Viktor looked at his status bar.
[Wind attribute power +10%]
He calmly watched the stone door slowly open and strode out.
As the second door opened, Victor quickly stepped inside.
However, the result was not much different from before.
He emerged after only a short time.
A white aura was added to his body once again.
That's the power of the wind.
Then, the third gate, and the fourth gate.
He calmly passed through the stone gates, and each time he emerged, he would see a white cloud of smoke swirling around him.
Viktor looked at his newfound buffs in silence.
[Wind attribute power +50%]
Finally, with the breakthrough of the first five gates, a fierce hurricane suddenly came rushing towards them.
The powerful storm caused his trench coat to flutter and whistle.
The opening of the sixth door seemed to be accompanied by a different kind of force.
He slowly walked in against the wind, and the deeper he went into the passage, the less the wind seemed to decrease.
When the hurricane had completely subsided, Victor looked around at the scenery, which was completely different from before.
This trial ground was much larger than the previous five stone gates, and the giant rock overhead was also carved with part of a beast-like body.
White light illuminated the entire vast trial grounds.
"really."
In the game, the first five levels are all relatively easy and simple.
It's a level that the vast majority of players can reach.
The difficulty increased dramatically when the sixth trial began.
Gradually, a violent hurricane burst forth from the surrounding rock walls.
The hurricane kept building and reassembling, visibly combining into a strange monster.
It seemed to have no form, surrounded by a cloud of white smoke, its shapeless body waving about.
However, its arms, which filled the gap, turned into several scattered wisps of smoke, taking on various shapes.
Spears, battle axes, sharp blades...
The weapons, in a myriad of forms, launched a fierce attack on Viktor.
Unfortunately, as a mage, Viktor is least afraid of melee combat!
In the blink of an eye, Viktor's hands were instantly enveloped in rich natural energy, and a spear and a blade appeared in his hands, burning with fierce flames.
As those plumes of dust approached, Victor dodged to the side and attacked the cloud-like figure.
Whew! Whew!
The smoke and dust shattered the moment it was hit, and Viktor, seizing the opportunity, saw the precious pearl within each wisp of smoke.
He suddenly swung the spear!
Click!
The precious pearl instantly turned into dust.
The plume of smoke, having lost the energy of the precious pearl, began to tremble and shake in the air before dissipating into the trial grounds.
As one plume of smoke disappeared, the remaining cloud of mist seemed to attack even more fiercely.
But Victor was already completely familiar with their attack methods.
With swift dodging, he perfectly avoided it.
The remaining clouds and mist naturally could not escape their fate.
They were all destroyed one by one by Viktor.
Viktor landed safely, dusted himself off, and watched as a wisp of white smoke curled around his body.
He remained silent, turned around, and walked out of the trial grounds.
As the stone gate opened, Victor walked toward the door to the next trial.
The seventh and the eighth.
The stone gate seemed to be just for show, and Victor easily broke through it.
