Early in the morning, Victor leaned against the carriage, bored, waiting for Gwen to come out of the house.
Gwen had just pushed open the door, holding a slender silver sword in her hand.
She's going for her morning exercise.
As soon as I stepped out the door, I looked up and saw Victor's carriage.
Gwen was taken aback for a moment.
At the same time, Victor, who was leaning against the carriage, nodded to her.
Gwen: "..."
You're here so early?
Feeling it would be impolite to leave him standing outside the door, Gwen thought for a moment and then said something to Victor.
"Practice for a while?"
"I am a mage."
Viktor stared at the slender silver sword in her hand and replied calmly.
Gwen blushed deeply, turned her head away, and said "Oh."
"Come in first."
After saying that, he ran to the training ground to start his morning exercise.
Viktor was a little bored, so he stood by the training ground and kept staring at her.
A knight's morning training consisted nothing more than swinging his sword and slashing to exercise his body.
While practicing, he also practiced various combat techniques, repeating them over and over.
Gwen brandished her sword for a while, then felt a little embarrassed by his gaze and couldn't help but offer an explanation.
"The Cavaliers have to train every day, day after day."
"I didn't ask you."
Gwen: "......."
So one person watched the other practice, and they remained silent.
After her morning exercise, Gwen wiped the sweat from her forehead and was about to pick up the water bottle next to her to take a sip and replenish her fluids.
A voice came slowly from the side.
"Drinking water immediately after strenuous exercise is bad for your health."
"..."
Gwen put down the water bag, because she felt that if she drank the water, Viktor would probably nag her about it again.
What's wrong with him today? Is he having a relapse?
After morning exercise, it's time for breakfast.
Gwen glanced at Viktor, hesitated for a moment, and asked:
"did you eat?"
"I didn't eat."
Viktor gave her a very concise answer.
Gwen: "...Let's go together then."
Upon hearing her invitation, Victor immediately set off, entering the mansion ahead of her without batting an eye.
Gwen: "..."
She tried to judge Victor with a sense of justice, but all his actions and words were honest.
"Strange thing."
Gwen muttered something to herself, shook her head, and shook those unfounded thoughts out of her head.
In the restaurant, Victor elegantly cut food with a knife and slowly put it into his mouth with a fork.
Gwen ate while watching Viktor eat.
Although I hate to admit it, Viktor is really good-looking. Just sitting next to him and watching him eat makes me feel hungry.
His manners and demeanor were extremely elegant.
If Victor can't be considered a nobleman, then there might not be any true noblemen in the world.
Comparing myself to others, even though I'm a girl, I actually seem a bit rough when I eat.
Gwen was somewhat annoyed, yet also puzzled.
Why would such a dignified and elegant nobleman do something so foolish and lacking in manners?
She was naturally referring to the underage daughter who had confessed her feelings to the Duke.
"..."
Never mind, it's none of her business anyway.
Victor said he would handle these things.
After the two finished breakfast, Gwen put on her knight's armor.
The silver-white armor made her skin appear even whiter and more delicate, and her exquisite and perfect face carried an aloof and indifferent air.
Like a Valkyrie emerging from the ice.
Viktor, however, looked at the white horse she was leading and asked a question.
"Do I want to ride a horse too?"
Gwen suddenly remembered that Victor was a mage, and it was impossible for him to travel such a long distance on foot.
How careless! She didn't even consider that.
In Gwen's memory, Victor had never ridden a horse.
What should we do? Should we share a ride with him?
Gwen hesitated for a while, but in that short time, Victor had already told Gwen's servants to go to the horse farm and pick out a horse suitable for a long journey.
Knight families never lack excellent horses.
Gwen saw him preparing to mount another horse and was about to speak when she saw Victor skillfully flip over and sit steadily on the horse's back.
"So you can ride a horse. You don't look like a beginner."
Victor ignored her, after all, Gwen could tell the truth from her words.
Too much talk leads to mistakes.
However, Gwen is right, Victor is indeed not a novice.
He's a game booster.
In the game, he even rode a dragon.
Two people set off on the road, one in front of the other.
Gwen had to report to the Knights of Favonius first, so Victor followed behind her.
The two didn't exchange a single word on the way, but Gwen felt something was off.
She glanced back at Victor, who still wore a blank, poker face. Feeling Gwen's gaze, he turned and met her eyes.
Gwen quickly turned her head back.
Viktor noticed she looked away and continued to admire the scenery along the way.
Upon arriving at the Knights' Order, the knights who had embarked on this journey were already prepared and waiting for orders.
Dozens of people stood in a row, awaiting Gwen's instructions.
At this moment, standing at the very front reminded him of the powerful and perfect Grand Knight Commander he had once seen in the game.
They were equally spirited and dashing.
As usual, Gwen had the knights practice first. After the practice, Gwen stood on the platform and addressed the knights:
"The accompanying monk we applied for last time has been found. I'm sure some of you know him."
